6 TEXAS CITY OF ROLLINGWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MINUTES Monday, May 13, 2024 The Community Development Corporation of the City of Rollingwood, Texas held a meeting, open to the public, in the Municipal Building at 403 Nixon Drive in Rollingwood, Texas on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. Members oft the public and the RCDC were able to participate in the meeting virtually, as long as a quorum of the RCDC and the presiding officer were physically present at the Municipal Building, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. A video recording oft the meeting was made and will be posted to the City's website and available to the public in accordance with the Texas Public CALL ROLLINGWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MEETING TO ORDER Information Act upon written request. 1. Roll Call President Colin Harvey called the meeting to order at 5:44 p.m. Present Members: Colin Harvey, Emily Doran, Bobby Hempfling, and Pat Sheehan Also Present: City Administrator Ashley Wayman, Assistant City Administrator Desiree Adair, Council Member Phil McDuffee and Corporation Attorney Megan Santee (virtually) PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments. CONSENT AGENDA 2. Discussion and possible action on the minutes from the March 4, 2024 RCDC meeting 3. Discussion and possible action on the minutes from the April 25, 2024 Rollingwood President Colin Harvey moved to approve the meeting minutes for the March 4th RCDC meeting as well as the Rollingwood Commercial Exchange. Bobby Hempfling seconded Commercial Exchange the motion. The motion carried with 4 ini favor and 0 against. REGULAR AGENDA 4. Update from the Retail Coach Community Development Corporation - Minutes Monday, May 13, 2024 President Colin Harvey called up item 5 in conjunction with this item. The RCDC discussed the attendance and topics of the Rollingwood Commercial Exchange, the commercial corridor, sales tax revenue, and the look of the sides of Bee Cave Road. Phil McDuffee, Council liaison, spoke regarding City Council discussion and the balancing act between preserving and protecting the residential area and getting new commercial in the The RCDC discussed timing for developers and how the RCDC could help City Council. They discussed circumstances where the Board of Adjustment could consider a commercial project. 5. Update, discussion, and next steps regarding the Rollingwood Community Development area. He discussed the process of change within government and Code. Corporation Commercial Exchange This item was heard concurrently with item 4. in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan 6. Update and discussion regarding the status of the proposed Commercial Code Amendments City Administrator Ashley Wayman reported that the Planning and Zoning Commission has made their recommendation with slight modifications to thel lighting language. City Council will hold one to two special meetings for final adoption of the Commercial Code amendments starting on May 22nd. 7. RCDC Financials through April 2024 Treasurer Bobby Hempfling discussed the RCDC financials. ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m. Minutes adopted on the 19 day of Angust 2024.
