Minutes The City of Princeton City Council Budget Retreat Meeting of June 12, 2024 The City Council of the City of Princeton, Texas, met in Special Session on June 12, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. in the City Council Chamber at the Municipal Center, located at 2000 E. Princeton Dr. Princeton, Texas 75407. Thei following Councimembers were present: Mayor Brianna Chacôn, Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh, Councimember Bryan Washington, Councimember Ryan Gerfers, Councilmember Carolyn David-Graves, and Councimember Marlo Obera. The following Councilmembers were absent: Councimember Ben Long. The following Staff Members were present: City Manager Michael Mashburn, Development Director Craig Fisher, interim Deputy City Manager John Land, Deputy City Secretary Estefania Villalba, City Attorney Grant Lowry, Public Works Director Tommy Mapp, Director of Employee Experience Fallan Carrillo, Marketing and Communications Director Erin Mudie, Library Director Glenda Puckett, Parks and Recreation Director Chase Bryant, Finance Director Brennan Harding, Fire Chief Harvey, Police Chief Waters, Detective Crawford, Detective Loya, Lieutenant Rodriguez, Police Executive Administrative Supervisor Tiffany West, Facilities Manager Robert Dalton, Facilities Specialist Johnathan Murley, IT Director Rick Irvine, Community Events Manager Meagan Petter, Interim Deputy Fire Chief Gammons, Utilities Manager William Rosales, Utility Billing Supervisor Mercedes Rodriguez, 1 Finance Senior Analyst Alison Fryman, and Communications Specialist Mallory Cammarata. Mayor Chacon called the City Council Meeting to order at 8:07 a.m. Mayor Chacon called roll, present were Councimembers: Ryan Gerfers, Bryan Washington, Marlo Obera, David Kleiber, Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh, and Carolyn Davd-Graves. Mayor Chacôn announced the first item under special agenda D.1 2024-115: Discuss and review the City of Princeton's current and projected financial status, revenues, expenditures, projects, personnel and staffing, fixed assets, areas of opportunity, and other issues related to the Fiscal Year 24-25 budget. No Action Mayor Chacôn asked for a motion to adjourn. Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh made a motion to adjourn. Councilmember Marlo Obera seconded the motion to adjourn. The motion carried 6-0.
