Minutes The City of Princeton City Council Meeting of August 26, 2024 The City Council of the City of Princeton, Texas, met in Regular Session on August 26, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at the Municipal Center, The following City Councimembers were present: Mayor Brianna Chacôn, Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh, Councilmember Bryan Washington, Councimember David Kleiber, Councimember Carolyn David-Graves, Councilmember Ben Long, Councimember Marlo Obera, and Councimember Ryan located at 2000 E. Participants will receive a blood pressure kit, monthly health education classes, and more! Classes will be provided at the library or remotely for those who cannot attend inj person. The Princeton Lois Nelson Public Library is seeking feedback on how you feel about the library, the services you use, and the services you would like to see. Mayor Chacôn announced the fifth item under Regular Agenda L.5 ORD-2024-08- 26: Consider approving Ordinance No. 2024-08-26 levying assessments for the costs 6 of certain improvements to be provided int the Eastridge Public Improvement District Improvement. Area No. 3 project; fixing a charge and lien against all properties within Improvement. Area No. 3 oft the district, and the owners thereof; providing for the manner and method of collection of such assessments; making at finding of special benefit to property ini improvement area no. 3oft the district; approving a service and assessment plan; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date; and take appropriate action. Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh made a motion to approve. Councilmember Marlo Obera seconded the motion to approve. The motion carried 7-0. Mayor Chacôn announced the sixth item under Regular Agenda L.6 ORD-2024- 08-26-01: Consider approving Ordinance No. 2024-08-26-01 authorizing the issuance of the "S SpecialA Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2024 (Eastridge Public improvement District Improvement Area No. 3 Project)"; approving and authorizing an indenture of trust, a bond purchase agreement, a continuing disclosure agreement and other agreements and documents in connection therewith; making findings with respect to the issuance of such bonds; and providing an effective date; and take appropriate action. Councimember Marlo Obera made a motion to approve. Councilmember Carolyn David-Graves seconded the motion to approve. The motion carried 7-0. Mayor Chacôn announced the seventh item under Regular Agenda L.7 ORD- 2024-08-26-02: Consider approving Ordinance No. 2024-08-26-02 authorizing the issuance of the "Special Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2024 (Winchester Crossing Public Improvement District No. 3 project)": approving and authorizing an 7 indenture of trust, a bond purchase agreement, a continuing disclosure agreement and other agreements and documents in connection therewith; approving an update to the service and assessment plan; making findings with respect tot the issuançe of such bonds; and providing an effective date; and take appropriate action.
