Ons special meeting minutes change wording that the city will take care oft thel labor of Motion to accept Torance McClean 2nd by Danny Garza; Passes unanimously  purchased from before he was on council.  the bid we aren't doing.  Mayors Report:  1. Waterwell repairs complete 2. Ballfield Phase II starts June 3rd 3. Update on truck/generator auction 4. Update on generatort that needed work  a. Repairs are finished; the fencing is going to be stretched by A1 a. Branco contract signed; mid tol late July finish date  a. Was put in: auction; 2000 chevy $1400 generator $5801 both are sold total $1980 a. Jeremy looked ati itand the fuel pump was bad and replaced. Both generators are good  to go.  5.F Fire hydrants complete a. Painted and repaired  Water Report:  Pump 1.2 mil gal, no major leaks, one. leak on Stella was repaired and caused another to leak further down! lane. The driveway on Stellal has dried up enough tor use again. Harville's landi is gettingrepaired in next couple days. The dirt on stella will be removed. Drying beds weeds are cleaned up. Ballfield water and sewer is marked and getting ready to dig up thel lines. Going to seel how low it can be run. Water will be on opposite side of the street. Well one turned on and getting dirty water complaints. Lab tests taken, thinkingi its iron.' There is as smalll bitofiron, iti is still safe. TCEQ wants us to run every    couple of months to make surei its working. We were doing sO much flushing that we did iron testing as precaution and turned offt the well. The travel time the water: moves down the pipe determines to reach them. The further out they are from the: source the dirtier the water willl look. Therei is a way to separate the chemicals fort the well thati is pumpingd dirty water:. We: assumed the dirty water wasf from the dirty casing. The water is better quality than before. Waiting until Friday of the tests to: see ifit's the water itself or coming in from outside casing. The apartment complex will not be affected; city can run on one well." Two weeks ago, they came outwith newi information to change threshold ofe exempt employees. Increases new salary minimum is $684/week $844/week. We meet that already $1128 beginning on January 1, 2025. We don't! have to address this until we do our budget.  Old Business:  1.1 Discuss amending amount to be spent on generators and installation  a. Back in Dec or Jan we approved the generator issue and purchase; amount of $30k; $535 over the budgeti is what we did. We need to make an amendment.  . Talked about having someone come in and service. Bradley Gray thinks if Klayton keeps logs of running generator about twenty minutes each month and keep the Danny Garza motions to handle maintenance ourselves, Torance McClean 2nd,  preventive maintenance ourselves. passes unanimously  3. Review: and discuss any: submissions for city logo and motto  a. Inj packet there are mottos and logos, these are what were: submitted we do not need to accept any oft them. Gayle feels the logo should go with the motto. How much does the school represent our town?
