8/12/2024 Meeting Minutes  COUNTY OF BURNET CITY OF MARBLE FALLS STATE OF TEXAS  On this Monday the 12th day of August 2024 the Parks and Recreation Commission of the City of Marble Falls, Texas convened for a regular meeting at 12:00 pm in the City Council Chambers located at 800 Third St., Marble Falls, Texas, with notice of meeting giving the time, place, date and subject having been posted as described in Chapter 551 ofthe Texas Government Code. Chair Harding called  the meeting to order at 12:00 pm and announced the presence of a quorum. UPDATES, PRESENTATIONS. AND RECOGNITIONS.  City Attorney Josh Brockman-Weber gave a presentation on the Texas Open  Meetings Act. CITIZEN'S COMMENTS.  CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES OF LAST REGULAR MEETING.  Monday, July gth, Regular Meeting: Commissioner Watkins made a motion and Vice-Chair Loper seconded the approval of the previous meeting minutes.  DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS. DIRECTORS REPORT  Director Dingman provided an update on the grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department which had been accepted at the council meeting as well as applied for the next grant cycle.
