OPONARD  RESOLUTION No. 240813-1  A resolution of the city council of the City of Leonard, Fannin County, Texas, to approvei final pay application No. 3f for Atkins Bros. Equipment Co. in the amount of $13,049.70 associated with the Community Development Block Grant project No. CDV21-0040 for work on the sewer line replacement project; and  establishing an effective date.  WHEREAS, The City of Leonard (the "City") is a General Type A municipality located in Fannin County, WHEREAS, the City of Leonard has secured funding through the. Texas Department of Agriculture's Community Development Block Grant, project No. CDV21-0040 for as sewer line replacement project; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously engaged. Atkins Bros. Equipment Co. for work ont the sewer line project, by acceptance of Resolution No. 240213-5 at an open duly noticed meeting; and WHEREAS, the contractor, Atkins Bros. Equipment Co., has submitted a final payment application No. 3 for the retainage in the amount of $13,049.70, and such application has been reviewed and approved by NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEONARD, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the payment of application No. 3int the amount of $13,049.70 to Atkins Bros. Equipment Co. for work on the: sewer line replacement project CDV21-0040. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective after the City Council's adoption.  Texas; and is governed by the City Council; and  the city engineer;  ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 2024.
