Councilmember Geesaman moved to approve the 4th Quarter 2021 Hotel/Motel (HOT) Tax funding reports from the Flatonia Chamber ofCommerce, Special Projects (Rail Park), and Arnim Museum. None Councilmember Geesaman made the motion to approve the Resolution 2022-01-02, naming City Manager as the authorized official for the CV Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program Grant. Councilmember Sears seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried. Councilmember Sears made the motion to approve the Resolution 2022-01- 03, naming the City Manager as the authorized official for the Patrol Vehicle Grant. Councilmember Kocian seconded the motion. None Councilmember Geesaman approved Goldman, Hunt & Notz L.L.P. to conduct the 2021-year end audit. Councilmember Kocian seconded the Consider and take appropriate action on the city not reporting an election to the Comptroller that would implement a Type B EDC Sales Tax in the city. Knight Law Firm LLP, city attorney will be taking care of the reporting in Councilmember Sears moved to make the City Secretary the Records Management Officer for the City of Flatonia, and for the city to follow the records management program under the local governments act LGRA.
