Page 651 Page1of1  MINUTES CITY COUNCILWORKSHOP August7,2024  The City Council of the City of Jasper, Texas met on August7, 2024, with thet following members  present to wit:  Anderson M. Land, Jr.. Marcus Barber... DeMarcus Holmes.. Ronald Sample.. Angel McCroskey.. Lequin Hilderbrand. Greg! Kelley.. Liz Jarrell..  Mayor  Council Member/Absent Council Member/Absent Council Member Council Member Council Member Interim City Manager .City Secretary  The meeting was called to order by Mayor Anderson Land at 5:30pm and opened with prayer by City Secretary Liz Jarrell. All members were present to wit except Council Member Demarcus Holmes  and Council Member Marcus Barber.  Mayor Land asked for public comments and there were none.  Mayor Land then addressed everyone in attendance they were going into executive session to receive an Electrical Rate Analysis presented by SEnergy with a recommendation: for electrical rates fort thet fiscal year 2024-2025, and Mayor Land asked everyone not included ini the executive session to leave the council room until the meetingi is reconvened. Thet time was! 5:31pm. The meeting was reconvened at 7:19pm. Mayor Land asked1 for action or discussion concerning the closed session, and none were made.
