Minutes Flatonia City Council Special Meeting May 17, 2022  Present:  Mayor Pro Tem Councilpersons  Catherine Steinhauser Mark Eversole Dennis Geesaman Ginny Sears  City Staff  Cheryl Sedlar, Administration Lee Dick, Police Chief  Opening Agenda  Call to Order:  Mayor Pro Tem Catherine Steinhauser called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm. The invocation and pledges to the American and Texas flags were led by Councilman  Invocation and Pledge: Kocian.  Citizen Participation: There was no Citizen Participation  Other Business- Election City ofFlatonia election.  Catherine Steinhauser Canvassed the votes and officially declared the results ofthe May 7,2022, Mike Steinhauser swore in the newly Elected Mayor Geesaman, Council member, Joanye  Eversole, and Councilman Allen Kocian who were elected on May 7,2022.  Deliberation Agenda DA5.1.2022.1  Consider and take appropriate action on appointing new Council Mayor Geesaman made a recommendation to appoint Travis Seale as new Councilman to replace the vacated chair. Council member Sears made a motion to appoint Travis Seale as the new Councilman with term expiring  member to replace the vacated chair.    04/2023. Mayor Pro Tem Steinhauser seconded the motion.
