Dick, Police Chief Jack Pavlas, Utility Director  Opening Agenda  Call to Order  Mayor Geesaman called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.  Invocation & Pledge Councilman Kocian led the invocation and pledges.  Consent Agenda  C1. Councilman Seale made a motion to approve the minutes from the April 25, 2023, meeting. Mayor Pro Tem Eversole seconded the motion None opposed. Motion  carried.  C2. Mayor Pro Tem Eversole made the motion to approve the financial statements for April 2023. Council member Sears seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion  carried.    Deliberation Agenda DA5.2.2023.1  Council member Sears made the motion to approve the contract with Flatonia Fire and Rescue Inc. Mayor Pro Tem Eversole seconded the  motion. None opposed. Motion carried.  DA5.2.2023.2  Mayor Pro Tem Eversole made the motion to approve Resolution 2023.05.01. Councilman Kocian seconded the motion. None opposed.  Motion carried.  Executive Session ES5.2.2023.1  Mayor Geesaman called to order the executive session as authorized by Texas Government Code Sec. 551.072 (Possible exchange, lease, or value ofreal estate including the potential change of ownership of parkland; and)  at 6:33 pm.  McWhirter Park - Softball Field  Adjournment  Council member Cockrell called the meeting adjourned at 7:04 pm. Mayor Pro Tem  Eversole seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried.
