Grand Saline City Council Regular Meeting 201 N. EI Pacific Street August 20, 2024 6:00 P.M. A regular meeting oft the Grand Saline City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Ridge Tardy. The Mayor announced a quorum present with the following: Councilmember Leah Erwin, Councilmember Scott Gorby, Councilmember Brandi Morris, and Councilmember Scott Snodgrass, and Councilmember Tara Invocation given by Mayor Ridge Tardy followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the American and Texas flag. Warner Service will be coming to check all the a/c units on City buildings to let us know what condition they are in. Advised Council of quotes on the sheetrock repairs at the EMS building to be $750.00 and the Chamber sheetrock to be $1982.00. Also advised them ofthe quote from Cynergy to replace City Hall and Police department servers to be Public Participation: Kathy Smith expressed her concerns on Ordinance 2024-114 Eliminating the Position of City John McElfish - GrantWorks 2025/2026 Texas Community Development Block Grant Program: Councilmember Leah Erwin made a motion to approve. John McElfish of GrantWorks to move forward with the Procurement polices and procedures process of the 2025/2026 Texas Community Development Block Grant Program. Hbk Engineering, LLC-Lead Service Line Inventory and Replacement Planning Services: Tabled Open and award bid for upgrades to the City of Grand Saline Pool: Councilmember Leah Erwin made a motion to award bid to Aqua Architects in the amount of $65,500.00 providing they furnish an itemized invoice, ac contract, and a 10 year warranty. Councilmember Scott Gorby second the motion. Motion carried Ordinance 2024-114 Eliminating the Position of City Administrator and amending the City's organizational chart accordingly: Councilmember Brandi Morris made ai motion to approve.
