Offense /Incident Report Activity: On 2/17/2022 Chief L. Dick was dispatched to Dairy Queen reference an alarm. Chief Dick observed the rear service door was ajar. Chief Dick entered the business and discovered it was the manager that had seti the alarm off by accident. Throughout the month of February, Chief Dick conducted background checks on applicants, served as Field Training On 2/14/2022 Sgt D. Taylor contacted: ai female subject, that was determined to be under the influence of narcotics. The subject was determined to be a hazard to herself and others. As Sgt Taylor arrested the subject, she resisted and attempted to bite Sgt Taylor. The subject was transported toi the hospital for medical clearance where she assaulted Sgt On 2/20/2022 Sgt Taylor was dispatched to at fire at the Care Free Inn. Sgt Taylor located the suspect that started the fire and arrested him for Arson. It was discovered the subject had a warrant for Arson out of Lavaca County and a warrant for Criminal Mischief >=$2500 <$30K. At the. Jail the subject was found to bei in possession of a prohibited substance ina a On 2/19/2022 Sgt Taylor and Officer T. Tunis assisted Texas DPS Trooper with an 18-wheeler rollover crash. Sgt Taylor and Officer Tunis assisted with traffic control until the 18-wheeler was recovered andi the roadway was cleared. On 2/14/2022 Officer T. Tunis Assisted Fayette County Deputies with a pursuit of a stolen vehicle. Officer Tunis was able to successfully deploy spike strips (tire deflation device) and then assisted with the apprehension of the suspect. On 2/26/22 Officer T.T Tunis assisted Fayette County Sheriff's Office Deputies with a vehicle crash, involving an 18- wheeler and a car, on IH-10. The Deputies were tied up on other calls, so Officer Tunis responded and assisted until Officer for Officer Roggenkamp, and patrolled the city. Taylor by kicking him. correctional facility. 41 felony charges in total. additional units arrived. On 2/22/2022 Officer Roggenkamp assisted Fayette County Deputies with at traffic stop. While assisting in a search of the vehicle, al large amount of money' was located, approximately $200,000. The driver was arrested, and Officer On 2/14/22 Officer Roggenkamp and OfficerT. Tunis assisted Fayette County Deputies with a disturbance on Old Spanish Trail. Officer Roggenkamp assisted inr removing a suspect from the vehicle and provided security while Deputies Roggenkamp cleared the scene conducted their investigation. Traffic Contacts: 22 All Flatonia Police Officers, including command: staff, have conducted traffic control throughout the city and specifically int the areas oft town that complaints of speeders have been received. Flatonia officers will continue to conduct stationary and mobile radar to alleviate the traffic concerns.
