Minutes Flatonia City Council Special Meeting April 22, 2021  Present: Mayor Councilpersons  Bryan Milson Catherine Steinhauser Mark Eversole Dennis Geesaman Ginny Sears Allen Kocian Sarah Novo - City Manager Angela Beck - City Attorney Jack Pavlas, Utilities Director Lee Dick, Police Chief Heather Ambrose - City Secretary Jack Pavlas -1 Utilities Director  City Staff  Absent  OPENING AGENDA Call to Order:  Mayor Bryan Milson called the Regular meeting to order at 5:30 PM.  Invocation and Pledge:  The invocation was led by Council, and Mayor Milson led the pledges to the American and Texas  flags.  Citizen's Participation:  Kathryn Geesaman expressed that she would like the City to consider allocating aj portion of the City's Hotel/Motel Tax funds to the Lyric Theater because it brings tourism to Flatonia. Some of the films they show have a cost that she feels could be offset by the HOT funds. Ms. Geesaman  said she hopes the item will be on the next City Council agenda.  EXECUTIVE SESSION  At 5:35 PM, Mayor Milson convened the Flatonia City Council in Executive Session to  discuss:  ES4.1-2021.2 551.086 Certain Public Power Utilities: Competitive Matters At 5:54 PM, Mayor Bryan Milson reconvened the City Council into Regular Session.
