Belton City Council Meeting August 27, 2024-5:30 P.M. The Belton City Council met in regular session in the Wright Room of the Harris Community Center. Members present included Mayor David K. Leigh, Mayor Pro Tem John R. Holmes, Sr., Councilmembers Wayne Carpenter (via Zoom), Craig Pearson, Daniel Bucher, Stephanie O'Banion and Dave Covington. He recommended the following appointments: Jaidan Mauk, Cahaya Lane, Veda Bennett, Maddison Frazier, Anaise Lopez- Rodriguez, Jacqueline Gantivar, Akina Gonzalez and Stella Lufburrow. He recommended Mayor Pro Tem Holmes, Councimember Carpenter and Councimember Covington serve on the subcommittee.
