Village of Briarcliff Village Council Regular Meeting Minutes May 29, 2024 Tony Haden, Fire Chief Pedernales Fire introduced himself and gave the State of The Fire Department presentation. Q&A session. Gave all in attendance the handout of the presentation and the Village Council about the New Apparatus, Station 801 Expansion, Staffing, Services Provided Recently and District Density Increase. Mayor Pro-Tem, Aldrich called the meeting to Order at 8:00 pm. Alderman Aldrich, Alderman Richmond and Alderman Charlesworth were Alderman Johnston made a motion to approve, seconded by Alderman Charlesworth, for Alderman Aldrich, Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman all sworn in for the Swearing in Ceremony. Richmond, Treasurer. All in favor. Motion passed. Present: Alderman Aldrich, Charlesworth, Johnston, Richmond, and Taylor. Mayor Hostetler was absent. Thomas and Diane Maione, Steve and Carol Lesem were in attendance at Alderman Richmond a motion, seconded by Alderman Charlesworth to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the April 24, 2024, Regular this meeting. Alderman Richmond reported nothing out of the ordinary for the departmental General Fund and Utility Fund revenues and expenses for the month of April, 2024. Alderman Johnston made a motion to approve the financial report seconded by Alderman Charlesworth. Stage 2 Restrictions timing of watering schedule. Irrigation System Stage 3 Aaron Johnson, City Manager stated work continues at the water plant up to hydrant at the Fire Department.
