STATEOFTEXAS COUNTY OF WINKLER On this the 22nd day of July, 2024, the Commissioners' Court of Winkler County, Texas, met in Regular Term of Court at the Courthouse in Kermit, Texas, with the following members present to wit: Charles M. Wolf Billy Stevens Robbie Wolf Victor Berzoza Homero Lujan Pam Greene County Judge Commissioner, Precinct No. 1 Commissioner, Precinct No. 2 Commissioner, Precinct No. 3 Commissioner, Precinct No. 4 County Clerk and Ex-Officio Clerk of Commissioners' Court Constituting a quorum for Court, at which time the following among other proceedings were had: Pledge of Allegiance. At9:00 o'clock A.M. Judge Wolf called the meeting to order and lead the Judge Wolf asked at this time if there are any matters to be heard from the Public, with attendance ini the qudience, Martha Stodghill spoke on behalf of the Senior Citizens regarding the parking lot at the Senior Citizen Center. She stated that iti is in very poor shape and needsi immediate attention. Stating that most of the people who come to the Center are older and less steady on their feet and taking a chance of someone falling and causing serious injury. It was also mentioned the concern of change in the Friday meals that is provided by the ladies that have been preparing the meals for quite some time now. All of the citizens that attend the Friday meals hope that it will stay the same as itis now. Judge Wolf asked at this time if any Commissioner wanted Consent Agenda item(s) moved to Discussion Agenda. CONSENT AGENDA: A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens and seconded by Commissioner Lujan to approve the following consent agenda item(s): (a) May and June minutes. (b) Payroll. (h) Monthly Investment Officer report. (i) Approve the following contracts forj juvenile offender placement: i) Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Posl-Adjudication Secure Correctional Facility Residential Treatment Services between Winkler County Juvenile Probation Department and The Randall County Juvenile Probation Department fori the period of September 1,2024 to August 31, 2025; Contract for Secure Residential Services between Winkler County and Randall County for the period of October 1,2024 Contract for Detention Services between Winkler County and Randall County for the period of October 1,2024 through iv) Contract and agreement between Grayson County Juvenile Board and' Winkler County for the period of September1, li) i) through September 31, 2025; September 30, 2025; 2024 through August 31,2025. which motion became an order of the Court upon the following vote: Ayes: Noes: Commissioners Stevens, Wolf, Berzoza and Lujan None A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens and seconded by Commissioner Lujan to appoint Minerva Soltero, Tax Assessor Collector to calculate the no-new-revenue-tox rate and voter-approval tax rate for Winkler County;which motion became an order of the Court upon the following vote: Ayes: Noes: Commissioners Stevens, Wolf, Berzoza and Lujan None A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens and seconded by Commissioner Wolf approve payment in the amount of $15,045.25 to Yellow House Machinery Co., forrepair to.
