Mark Lope seconded. All in Favor Opposed Abstentions 4* 0 0 *Since there was al lack ofa quorum, additional votes were taken on all business presented at this meeting. New Business Donna Jenereski reviewed one. FY2023-2024 contract amendment and a list ofFY 2024-2025 D&A contracts for the Board. Program There wasi no program. REPORTS SCA:Case ManarementTreatment/Prevention Updates: . The Center on Center update- The Center continues to be open three days a week from 1:00-7:00pm and membership has grown to over 90 individuals. The Center: now offers weekly meetings including Refuge Recovery, Moms in Recovery, Faces of] Recovery, and All Recovery. A Professionals in 1 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board- August 20, 2024 Meeting Minutes Recovery meeting started on August 16th and will continue tol be offered weekly. The Center also continues to offer heART for Sobriety every Friday afternoon consisting ofa variety of The Center recently hosted two ice cream socials (July 19th & August 9t) and another is being planned for some time in September. Faces ofRecovery hosted ai movie night in the back parking lot of the Center on July 27th and they had a great turnout! Faces ofRecovery will also be hosting two upcoming events including al bingo night on. August 24th and ai masquerade on As ofl last week, there have been 28 confirmed overdose deaths thus far with 6 cases still pending For comparison purposes: at this time last year, there had been 23 confirmed overdose deaths and arts/crafts and fellowship. September 28th. e County Overdose update- for 2024 7cases were still pending. 4 Annual SCA Monitoring- Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Updates: We completed our virtual meeting with DDAP as well as the onsite visit on August 7th. The visit went well and DDAP reviewed contracts/contract language and payment time frames, selected samples ofinvoices from outpatient and inpatient providers, XYZ: rate setting packets reviewed by our office, staff trainings, and a very small sample of client charts. DDAP was] pleased with everything and did not note any conçerns or issues. Annual SCA Monitoring- As mentioned last month, we completed an annual Case Management meeting with DDAP on August 19th. The meeting consisted ofar review ofDDAP's CMCS manual requirements, a discussion regarding how CM operates inl Butler County, how we disseminate information/edtucation within the community, communicable disease requirements, medication assisted treatment, the warm handoff process, and outreach & engagement strategies for priority The contracts continue to be returned to our office. We are exploring some additional treatment- related contracts for the current fiscal year. Ifwei move forward with these, they will be and special populations. FY2024-2025 Contracts- presented at a future meeting for board review. State Updates: Nothing to report at this time Financial Report Case Manager Report Bill Kepple reviewed the allocations and expenditures through June 30, 2024. Tracey Hendrix reviewed the statistics for the Monthly Assessment Services, the Information/Referal Services (IRS), and the Client Location graph for the month of. July 2024. 2 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board - August 20, 2024 Meeting Minutes Prevention Report Lisa Gill gave an overview of upcoming Drug & Alcohol prevention events and trainings. She reviewed the Prevention Service Data: including the Peyemntion/ntervention: Number of Services, Number of] Individuals Served, and the Prevention Demographic Data for the month of July 2024. She provided a flyer for International Overdose Day and the Butler County Recovery Walk & Picnic. PCCDUpdate Ralph Patrick reported there are ten (10) participants in the DRC program. Two people are in jail awaiting referral to treatment, one person isi in outpatient and expected to finish at the end ofthis month, the remaining individuals are in various levels of outpatient. Drug Treatment Court Update Donna reported there are currently fourteen (14) people participating in the program. Three individuals are in inpatient, three are in intensive outpatient and four are in outpatient treatment. Four individuals are currently in jail, one pending termination, two are pending violation hearings and further order oft the court, and one: is pending admission' into treatment. Council Members' Concems/Comments/Amnouncements Providers' Concemsy/Comments/Amnouncements There were: none. Kenneth Clowes gave an update on BC3's programing for Hope is Dope. A class is starting today at the Butler VA in partnership with the Veterans' Overwatch Foundation. They are working on scheduling classes at the prison, they will have a community series available for people in recovery and there will be a professional series available that will be held both online and inj person at BC3. Stories ofl Hope will be held on September 19 at' The. Art Center. Public Comment Regarding General Items There were: no public comments. Adjournment meeting at 7:55 a.m. on at this meeting.
