Program No program was scheduled for this meeting. 1 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board - April 16, 2024 Meeting Minutes REPORTS SCA: Case ManagementreatmentPrevention Updates: aS SRU Institute for Nonprofit Leadership: Recovering Life Initiatives update- The heART for Sobriety art/craft activities continue to be offered at SUCCEED each Friday The Impacting Together recovery advocacy group. continues to meet on a weekly basis, in preparation for the opening oft the recovery center. The group continues to focus on preparing for the opening of the recovery center and eventually transitioning to ai recovery community The Nonprofit Development Corporation (NDC) continues to work on necessary repairs and renovations to the building. As mentioned last month, the tentative opening date for the recovery center will be April 26th and a grand opening for the center will bel held on May gth at 1:00pm. We did receive word that we. have completed the credentialing process. We are not sure ifan on- We are still waiting for revised documents from OMHSAS in order to complete our revalidation applications. If we do not receive the documents by the end oft the week, wej plan to go ahead and For 2024, as of] last week, there have been 8 confirmed overdose deaths thus far with 6 cases still For comparison purposes: at this time last year, there had been 13 confirmed overdose deaths and from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. organization (RCO). R Recovery Center update- R Re-credentialing Process with Carelon update- site visit will be scheduled sometime in the near future. - Revalidation with Dept. of Human Services (DHS)- submit our applications along with the documents that we currently have. Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs DDAP) Updates: - DDAP Annual SCA Program Monitoring- We submitted our pre-submission packet to DDAP at the end ofl March. The on-site visit has yet We continue to schedule monitoring visits with all assigned in-county providers. This includes the monitoring of treatment, prevention, intervention, case management, and certified recovery Asi mentioned last month, the FY 2024-25 rate setting process for all non-hospital residential and halfway house providers began at the beginning of] February. We have met with other SCA's within our region to review packets and request further information from identified providers. XYZ: Rate Setting Process- State Updates: None Financial Report Cory Achezinski reviewed the allocations and expenditures through March 31, 2024. 2 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board- - April 16, 2024 Meeting Minutes Case Manager Report Tracey Hendrix reviewed the statistics for the Monthly Assessment Services, the Information/Referal Services (IRS), and the Client Location graph for the month of March 2024. She also reviewed the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Third Quarter Assessment Statistics, the Quarterly Drug of Choice Statistics, Top Drugs ofUsage, Referrals, and the Client Location Graph. Prevention Report Lisa Gill gave an overview of upcoming Drug & Alcohol prevention events and trainings. She reviewed the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Third Quarter Prevention Service Data: including the Pevention/ntervention: Number of Services, Number of] Individuals Served, and the Prevention Demographic Data. She reviewed the Second Quarter Number of] Prevention Services by Location and by Age Group. She provided ai flyer for a free training on The Impact That Problem Gambling has on Veterans. Nominating Committee Board Reappointment: Shawn Pugh asked for a motion to: reappoint Mark Lope to serve a second term on the Board. Kristan Semmler made the motion, Alicia Beighley seconded All in Favor Opposed Abstentions 6 0 0 PCCDUpdate Kristan Semmler reported there are five (5) active participants, two are in inpatient, one individual isi in al halfway house, two individuals are in outpatient. There are: four (4) pending in various different levels. Drug Treatment Court Update Donna reported that there are currently fifteen (15)people participating in the program. Four are in al halfway house, one is in inpatient, and nine individuals are in outpatient. There is one person in jail on a violation pending further order oft the court. There are two pending referrals to the program. A graduation is tentatively scheduled for May 23rd pending the judge'savailability. Council Members' Concems/Comments/Announcements Providers' ConcemsyComments/Amnouncements There were none. Ken Clowes gave an update on BC3 programing. Three Hope is Dope professional series were previously held at the County Government Center. One more professional series is scheduled to bel held at the college campus. One Recovery series was held for the community at the YMCA. They. just finished their first class at the prison and they plan to schedule more classes there.
