Approval of Nicklas King McConahy of Cranberry Township as an appraiser to work with the Butler County Agricultural Land Preservation Board with a Letter of Engagement for each job to be signed by Mark Gordon. The Preservation Board has approved working with this firm upon approval by the Board of Commissioners. Each appraisal request will be individually approved by the Preservation Board on an as-needed basis. As required by the easement purchase process, this firm will complete appraisals meeting all state requirements to help determine easement offers to farm owners who have been chosen for easement purchase. F. Commissioners 1. Approval of acceptance of the award for the Butler County Prison COVID Mitigation Grant from PCCD. At the 9/13/23 Commissioners' Public Meeting, the request to submit the grant was approved. The grant is in the amount of $337,000 of federal dollars for the period 8/1/22 - 7/31/24 to fund the purchase of two Tek 84 Intercept Model Body Scanners with Thermal Scanner, with authorization for the Chairman to 2. Introduction This ballot curing policy forl Butler County is established to allow registered voters the opportunity to cure immaterial deficiencies on their absentee or mail-in ballot declaration envelopes. II. Definitions As used herein, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated: Attestation: The form at the Bureau which a Voter can correct information deemed as defective Ballot: An absentee or mail-in ballot which a Voter may use to cast a vote in an election. on the Declaration Envelope. Bureau: The Butler County Bureau of] Elections. County: Butler County. County Board: Butler County Board of] Elections. curable by applicable law, i.e. a lack of signature Deficiency: A defect on the Declaration Envelope recognized by the Department of State as Declaration Envelope: Pennsylvania law provides that two envelopes shall be mailed to each absentee or mail-in elector; the larger oft these envelopes is referred to alternatively as the Declaration Envelope.
