New Business Donna Jenereski reviewed a contract amendment with the Center for Community Resources to add in Student Assistance Program (SAP) Training Services for the period of September 30, 2023 through June 30, 2024. 1 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board- -May: 21, 2024 Meeting Minutes Program Anna Shuster from Ellen O'Brien Gaiser Addiction Center gave aj presentation on1 the programs and services that they provide. REPORTS SCA: Case Managemenl/reammenlPrevention Updates: The heART for Sobriety art/craft activities formerly held at SUCCEED have moved to the Recovery Center. The activities continue to be offered each Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The: recovery advocacy group continues to meet on a weekly basis at the center. The group is focused on improving attendance, building the activities/services offered at the center, and eventually transitioning to ai recovery community organization (RCO) at some point ini the future. The grand opening for the recovery center was. held on May gth and wel had a wonderful turnout! We estimate that there were approximately 100-150 people in attendance for the event. Those in Since the soft opening on April 26lh, the Center has been opening three days a week from 1:00- 7:00pm. Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Updates: eI DDAP Annual SCA Program Monitoring- As mentioned last month, we submitted our pre-submission packet to DDAP at the end of Monitoring visits with all assigned in-county providers has continued and all visits will be completed by the end ofl May. This includes the monitoring oft treatment, prevention, intervention, case management, and certified recovery specialist (CRS) services. March. Our on-site visit with DDAP has been scheduled for August 7h. Annual Provider Monitoring- XYZ: Rate Setting Process- the PACDAA's statewide website. State Updates: None The XYZ: rate setting process for FY 2024-25 has concluded and the rates have been posted on 2 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board-May 21, 2024 Meeting Minutes Financial Report Case Manager Report Bill Kepple reviewed the allocations and expenditures through March 31,2024. Tracey Hendrix reviewed the statistics for the Monthly Assessment Services, the Information/Referral Services (IRS), and the Client Location graph for the month of April 2024. Lisa Gill gave an overview of upcoming Drug & Alcohol prevention events and trainings. She reviewed the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Third Quarter Prevention Service Data: including the Prevention/ntervention: Number of Services, Number of Individuals Served, and the Prevention Prevention Report Demographic Data. She provided flyers for several events. PCCDUpdate Kristan Semmler reported there are seven (7) active participants, one person is in jail pending a violation hearing, two are: in long term rehab, one: is in intensive outpatient, one: is in a halfway house, and two are in outpatient. There are four that are pending that have cases here in June. Donna reported that there are currently fifteen (15) people participating in the program. Two are in al halfway house, two are in inpatient, one isi in intensive outpatient and eight are in outpatient. There are two people in jail pending violation hearings and further order oft the court. There will be a graduation for three individuals on May 30th at 2:00 p.m. in Courtroom #2. Drug Treatment Court Update Council Members' Concerns/Comments/Amnouncements Providers' Concems/Comments/Amnouncements There were. none. Ken Clowes gave an update on BC3's Hope is Dope programing. Three professional series were held at the County Government Center and one was held at the BC3 campus. Four Recovery series were. held for the community, one at the YMCA and three in the prison. A class will be held next week at the VA campus in partnership with the Veterans' Overwatch Foundation. Public Comment Regarding General Items There were no public comments.
