MINUTES OF COMMISSIONERS COURT  August 12.2024  At8:30am a public hearing was offered concerning the proposed budget for fiscal year 2024-2025. The public hearing was adjourned at Bei it remembered that on August 12, 2024, the Honorable Commissioners Court met in Regular Session witht theser members present, to- wit: County Judge Kevin Brendle. Commissioners, Dennis Wyatt, Precinct #I; Mike Smith, Precinct 2; Charlie Morris, Precinct #3; Greg Amold, Precinct #4; and Brandi Abbott, Treasurer. The meeting was called to order at 9:07 a.m. by County. Judge, Kevin Brendle. The meeting opened with  9:00am with no public comment made.  ap prayer by Charlie Morris, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. Flag and the Texas Flag. The following Consent Agenda Items were submitted tot the court for approval: SheriffTerry Braly presented the Sheriff's Department report. Rebeccal Haney, Tax Assessor Collector presented the Tax Office report. Danay Carnes, County and District Clerk, submitted the Clerk'soflice report. Brandi Abbott, County Treasurer presented the treasurer'sr report. County Commissioners reported onr road conditions int their precincts.  Whereupon the following business was transacted andi is now placed ofrecord in the minutes ofs said Court:  Minutes oft the. July 8th Commissioners Court meeting were reviewed along with the minutes oft the Special Meeting and Budget Workshop  ofJuly 22 and August 5, 2024. Stella Carter, J.P. presented report.  Approve purchase of Motor Grader Blades for Precincts 1& 2t that may exceed the county spending policy. Mike Smith made the motion to approve the Consent Agenda Items as submitted. Dennis Wyatt second the motion. Motion passed  unanimously.  Action Agenda  I. Public Comment - none  2. Stacy Bruington presented benefits of County wide participation for the Healthy County program.  3. Charlie Morris made the motion to approve option A for the Imposition of Optional Fees for Calendar year 2025. Greg Arnold: second 4. Ona ar motion made by Dennis Wyatt and seconded by Mike Smith the court voted unanimously for the reinstatement of Burn Ban. 5. Mike Smith madet the motion to approve order oft the! November 5, 2024 General Election. Greg Arnold second the motion. Motion 6. Charlie Morris made the motion to approve the 2024-2025 budget. Greg Arnold second the motion. Motion passed unanimously. 7. Ona a motion made! by Charlie Morris and second by Mike Smith the court voted unanimously to approve the Proposed Tax Rate of 9. Dennis Wyatt made the motion to approve bid from B & A for Carport on east: side of the Courthouse Annex to be paido out oft the 10. Charlie Morris made the motion to approve! bid from' WestTech Foundation Repair for stabilization of Courthouse. Mike Smith second  the motion. Motion passed unanimously. was approved unanimously. 0.85 for FY2024.  B. Commissioners Court discussed Tribal Funds. the motion. Motion passed unanimously.  Trible Funds. Motion was made by Dennis Wyatt and seconded by Mike!
