MUNI70C141,2304991 04/24/23 Notice isl hereby given that Millersville Borough Council at its meeting on Tuesday, May 23,2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Millersville Borough Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Millersville, Pennsylvania, shall conduct a public hearing in accordance with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code on and, at the conclusion of the public hearing or a subsequent public meeting held within 60 days of the date of second publication of this advertisement, will consider, and, if appropriate, enact an ordinance, the caption of which is as follows: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MILLERSVILLE BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 380, ZONING, TO CHANGE THE TRADITIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD ZONING DISTRICT FROM. AN OVERLAY: DISTRICTTO A CONVENTIONAL ZONING DISTRICT; TO REVISE THE PROVISIONS GOVERNING TRADITIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT; TO REVISE PROVISIONS FOR LIVE-WORK UNITS; ANDTOSOAMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP. The proposed ordinance may be summarized as follows. Section 1 amends the Zoning Map to revise the designation of "Traditional Neighborhood Overlay District (Option)" to the TN Traditional Neighborhood District and identify lands on Cottage Avenue and the intersection of Routes 741 and 999 within such district identified as Lancaster County Tax Account Nos. 440- 90508-0-0000, 440-49186-0-000, 440-07271-0-0000, and 440-18982-0-0000, and 440-78008-0- 0000. Section 2 amends definitions. Section 3 amends provisions listing zoning districts and overlay districts. Section 4 revises Section 380-34 ofthe Code ofOrdinances to add requirements for live-work units. Section 5 amends Section 380-29 to include regulations governing the TN Traditional Neighborhood District. Sections 6 - 8 reaffirm all other parts and provisions oft the Code of Ordinances, provide for severability of any invalid provisions, and set forth the effective date.
