Minutes of the Meeting of the Collegevile-Trappe Joint Public Works Department Trappe Borough Hall Trappe, Pennsylvania May 28, 2024 Chairwoman McKinney called the Collegeville-Trappe Joint Public Works Department meeting to order on the above date at 7:15 PM. Members present were Mrs. McKinney, Mr. Farr, Mr. Strauss, Mr. Schautz and Ms. Perlin. Mrs, Beckius were absent. Also present were attorneys Dave Onorato of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP, and Briana Bryant of Kilkenny Law, LLC, the engineer, Matt Boggs, of Entech Engineering and the Director, Joseph Hastings. The members stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. MINUTES: Mr. Strauss made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of April 17, 2024, as presented. Mr. Schautz seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. PUBLIC: INPUT: There was no public input. ENGINEERING REPORT: Mr. Boggs presented the Engineer's Report to the committee and is attached herewith. He also introduced his colleague Karen Pollock who was sitting in the audience. She was present to help answer questions about There was no update for the Castle Cove (previously known as Crossings at Creek Run) project, The engineer reported that revised plans for the Fugo project have been reviewed and an email was sent The engineer reported a review letter was sent for the 56-62 Seventh Ave Development project. Mr. Boggs presented al EWO to prepare a water model of the system that can anticipate future upgrades when considering the well upgrades and the interconnections. A conversation ensued and it was decided the engineer will break down the cost estimates for the different phases and resubmit it next month. The engineer also requested authorization for testing each well for contaminants. This is needed to do the pilot study for the well upgrades option. After discussion, Mr. Schautz motioned to approve the testing of Well Mr. Boggs recommended the release of the Glenwood Reserve's Maintenance escrow once their Legal and Engineering escrow has been replenished. Ms. Perlin motioned to approve the release. Mr. Schautz the PFOS, with a few minor comments, There was no update for the Bronson Circle project. #8, for $1000. Mr. Farr seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. seconded and the motion passed unanimously. TREASURER'S REPORT: Mr. Farr presented the Victory Bank's check register which is attached herewith. The beginning balance on the check register as of April 16, 2024, was $210,165.44, deposits were $237,885.59 and disbursements were $155,947.52, leaving an ending balance of $292,103.51 on May 24, 2024. Mr. Farr motioned to approve check numbers 1753 through 1799, all EFTs and journal entries, Mr, Strauss seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Mr. Schautz seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Mr, Farri reviewed the other financial reports which are attached herewith. DIRECTOR'S REPORT: SOLICITOR'S REPORT: Mr. Hastings presented. and reviewed the Director's Report to the Committee and is attached herewith. There were no solicitors' reports. Ms. Perlin made a motion to approve the Business Reports, which was seconded by Mr. Farr and the motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS: NEW: BUSINESS: There was no old business. Mr. Strauss mentioned a resident's concern about the trees in Water Works Park.
