Minutes of the Meeting ofthe COlleg.wil-Tmappeloint Public Works Department Trappe Borough Hall Trappe, Pennsylvania April17,2024 Chairwoman McKinney called the Collegeville-Tmappe Joint Public Works Department meeting to order on the above date at 7:23 PM. Members present were Mrs. McKinney, Mr. Farr, and Mr. Strauss, Mr. Schautz arrived late. Ms. Perlin and Mrs. Beckius were absent. Also present were attorneys Dave Onorato of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP, and Rebecca Geiser of Kilkenny Law, LLC, the engineer, Matt Boggs, of Entech Engineering and the Director, Joseph Hastings. The members stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. MINUTES: Mr. Strauss made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of March 26, 2024, as presented. Mr. Farr seconded the motion and itj passed unanimously. PUBLICINPUT: There was no public input. ENGINEERING REPORT: Mr. Boggs presented thel Engineer's Report to the committee and is attached herewith. There was no update for the Crossings at Creek project, which is now known as Castle Cove. The engineer reported that revised plans for the Fugo tract have been received and will be reviewed in Mr. Boggs reported that the EPA has set limits for the PFOA and PFOS at 4.0 parts per trillion. A conversation about the EPA's time line and grant money availability ensued. The engineer discussed the need for surveying and water modeling, It was decided that the engineer will do a cost analysis for all the options which is to the next few days. include initial costs and long range costs. There was no update for the Bronson Circle project. The engineer reported the developer addressed his comments but he still needs to review construction cost estimates for the 56-62 Seventh Ave Development project, after which he will issue a review letter. TREASURER'S RCPORT: Mr. Farr presented the Victory Bank's check register which is attached herewith, The beginning balance on the check register as of March 26, 2024, was $165,908.89, deposits were $153,353.09 and disbursements were $109,096.54, leaving an ending balance of $210,165,44 on April 15, 2024. Mr. Farr motioned to approve check numbers 1722 through 1752, all EFTs and journal entries. Mr. Schautz seconded the motion and the motion passed Mr. Farr motioned to reinvest the two investments due to mature on April 231d, into two 12 months, $250,000 PLGIT Terms investments. Mr. Schautz seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Mr. Farr noted he unanimously. will move the investment that comes due on May 10th into the PLGIT Prime account. Mr. Farr reviewed the other financial reports which are attached herewith. DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Page 10 of2 Collegeville-Trappe. Joint Public Works Department- - Meeting Minutes April17,2024 Mr, Hastings presented and reviewed the Director's Report to the Committee and is attaƧhed herewith, Several reports were submitted during the month. The Director asked if the board wanted to continue testing the 4 wells that are not in production for the PFA and PFOA, It was agree to not continue, Mr. Hastings also mentioned the need to change the method oft testing in order to comply with both the PA DEP and the EPA, SOLICITOR'S REPORT: There were no solicitors' reports. Mr, Strauss made a motion to approve the Business Reports, which was seconded by Mr. Farr and the motion passed unanimously, OLD BUSINESS: The Director reported he received the plans from Aqua for the temporary interconnection for Perkiomen Woods, He is waiting for the draft agreement. NEW BUSINESS: PUBLIC INPUT: are all at different depths, There was no new business. There was no public input. Mr. James Traupman, ofNinth Avenue, Collegeville, inquired if the wells in the system drawing from the same aquifer.
