Minutes of the Meeting oft the Colegevlle-Trappe Joint Public Works Department Trappe Borough Hall Trappe, Pennsylvania January 30, 2024 Mrs. McKinney called the Collegevile-Trappe Municipal Authority meeting to order 011 the above date at 7:29 PM. Members present were Mrs. McKinney, Mrs. Beckius, Mr. Farr, Mr. Strauss and Mr. Schautz, Ms. Perlin was absent, Also present were attorneys James Gallagher of Kilkenny Law, LLC, and Dave Onorato of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP, the engineer, Matt Boggs, of Entech Engineering and the Director, Joseph Hastings. The members stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Mr. Strauss motioned a slate of nominations as follows: Mrs. McKinney for the position of Chairman, Ms. Perlin the position of Vice Chairman, Mr. Farr for Treasurer, Mr. Strauss for Assistant Treasurer, Mr. Schautz. for Secretary and Mrs. Beckius for Assistant Secretary. Mr. Farr seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Mr. Strauss motioned to reappointment of Hladik, Onorato and Federman, LLC and Kilkenny Law as co-solicitors. Mrs. Beckius seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Mr. Schautz motioned to reappointment Entech Engineering, Inc. as the Engineer. Mr. Strauss seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. MINUTES: Mrs. Beckius made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of December 20, 2023, as presented, Mr. Schautz seconded the motion and it passed unanimously, PUBLICINPUT: There was no public input. ENGINEERING REPORT: Mr, Boggs presented the Engineer's Report to the committee and is attached herewith. There was no update on the Crossings at Creek Run project. There was no update on the Fugo Tract. The engineer reported he has received land development plans for the Bronson Circle Mr. Boggs reported he has received land development plans for 56-62 Seventh Ave Development Development project and is ini the process ofreviewing it. project and willl be reviewing it. TREASURER'S REPORT: Mr. Farr presented the Victory Bank's check register which is attached herewith. The beginning balance on the check register as of December 20, 2023, was $206,442.49, deposits were $ 187,522.77 and disbursements were $179,016.59, leaving an ending balance of $214,978.67 on. January 26, 2024. Mr. Schautz motioned to approve check numbers 1594 through 1640, all EFTs and journal entries. Mr. Strauss seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Mr. Schautz seconded and the motion passed unanimously, Mr. Farr reviewed the other financial reports which are attached herewith. DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Mr. Hastings presented the Director's Report to the Committee and is attached herewith. The Director reported that the Public Notices, for the PFOA exceedance at Well 14, were sent out. SOLICITOR'S REPORT: Mr. Onorato reported that all the documents for the 199 W. Third Avenue project have been Mr, Farr made a motion to approve the Business Reports, which was seconded by Mr. Schautz and the recorded. motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: with Election Day. PUBLICINPUT: There was no old business. There was a discussion about changing the meeting date for the April meeting as it happens to coincide There was a discussion about analyzing the frequency oft the need to clean storm grates and inlet boxes, There wasi no public input.
