Minutes of the Meeting ofthe Colegevile-Trappe Joint Public Works Department Trappe Borough Hall Trappe, Pennsylvania June 25,2024 Chairwoman McKinney called the Collegeville-Tappe Joint Public Works Department meeting to order on the above date at 7:13 PM. Members present were Mrs. McKinney, Mr. Farr, Mr, Strauss, Mr, Schautz, Mrs. Beckius and Ms. Perlin. Also present were attorneys Dave Onorato of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP, and Kalie Melchior of Kilkenny Law, LLC, the engineer, Matt Boggs, of Entech Engineering and the Director, Joseph Hastings. The members stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. MINUTES: Mr. Schautz made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of May 28, 2024, as presented. Ms. Perlin seconded the motion andi it passed unanimously. PUBLIC! INPUT: There was no public input. ENGINECRING REPORT: Mr. Boggs presented the! He discussed how the two work orders will go hand in hand, and the work will be happening simultaneous for the most part, After a lengthy discussion, Mr. Strauss made a motion to approve Phase I oft the EWO for the water modeling in the amount of $28,000 and to approve Phases 2,3 and 4 contingent on approval from both Boroughs. Ms. Perlin seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. The beginning balance on the check register as of May 25, 2024, was $292,103.51, deposits were $173,866.55 and disbursements were $243,966.47, leaving an ending balance of $222,003.59 on June 24, 2024. Mr. Farr motioned to approve check numbers 1800 through 1839, all EFTs and journal entries. DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Mr, Hastings presented and reviewed the Director's Report to the Committee and is attached herewith. He discussed the cause oft the water main break on Joan Drive. The CCR has been completed and posted on the web. Employee Thomas McMenamin completed a class on Securing Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities. SOLICITOR'S REPORT: There were no solicitors' reports. Ms, Perlin made a motion to approve the Business Reports, which was seconded by Mr. Farr and the motion passed unanimously.
