Councilor Kratz stated the plan is to invite people into a common setting and then have them divide into the committee they want. Police Chief Winokur informed the committee that the Civil Service Commission has certified the new list of eligibility and it has been posted. Police Chief Winokur stated that they have started background investigations on the first applicant. Turkey Hill wants to sponsor the police department for a program called Coffee with the Cop. On October 5th it is national Coffee with the Cop Day. President Bartholomew requested this be placed on the next regular council agenda. b. The committee reviewed the request from Northern Lehigh Food Bank for help for gas for van for $50 to $60 per month. President Bartholomew requested this be place on the next regular council agenda. There were no questions from the committee members; the Human/Community Services Committee meeting was adjourned. D. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: Mayor Schoch is involved with the Legion. Thel Legion is thinking of placing flags of fallen servicemen which would bel hung around town by public works. The Legion will be attending a council meeting to discuss this. E.
