The magistrate wasn't too happy. So we'17 find out in the coming days what's going to happen there. I'm all set up for a commercial zoning hearing for zoning next week for 9 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 Pride Mobility. We're all set for that. They're going to put in a sign and they need a variance. Also, I'm going to write a letter on Thursday if Boyko doesn't have his property cleaned up on Maple Street and then file with the magistrate. A1l the tires on Butler Street where Ron Coles had his garage are all cleaned out. Donna Scott : Marylynn copied you guys on Donna Scott's letter. We have a hearing coming up soon with Donna Scott. Bill, where is the Scott hearing, up at the courthouse? ATTY. RINALDI: Yes, it's at the courtnouse, I believe. MR. PAPI: Nine o'clock. And you guys got the letter copied to you that Donna Scott wrote. I don't know if you guys want to do any leniency or not. MR. FEBBO: Tell me about that, Paul. I'm not familiar with it. ATTY. Give him the background. It's been going on quite some time. MR. PAPI: Well, that's one of the first things I did 15 years ago, when I started working for the borough, was to work on Scott's property. He had just had a severe heart attack. He had showed me the stitches in his chest. At that point I just dropped it and let it go. I couldn't ask the guy to do anything. Then the next thing K knew I had a different job and then Steve was in charge. It's not anybody that complains about it. The neighbors are fine with it because they like the Scotts. MR. FEBBO: No, they're not, Paul. That's a lie. That's not what I'm hearing. MR. PAPI: It's only through my experience. Nobody's ever called me ever to complaint about them. MR. FEBBO: I get it from almost everybody down there the last five years. MR. PAPI: She sent in the letter to you guys, and we have a hearing coming up 11 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 with her next week, I believe. MR. HOOVER: Paul, is there some progress? MR. PAPI: Very little. I mean, there's so much there that a lot of progress really takes a lot of work. She said her and her brothers were : MR. FEBBO: I can't hear anything he's saying. MR. LETTIERI: Paul, if a residential house wants to put a handicap ramp to their house, do they need a permit for that? MR. PAPI: Yes. Anything involving ingress and egress to a house involves BIU. They need to come and see me. I'11 give them all the applications to fill out. MS. BARTOLETTI: That's at 212. MR. RUSSEL RINALDI: Anybody have any questions for Joe? MR. NOTARI: Joe, how is the sewer project coming along on Main Street? MR. LENCESKI: It's buttoned up right now. What's left, they tied the lateral in to Nardone's. The last two steps should be replacing the grass, the driveway, and in the spring we're going to have to hook up from the manhole they put in to the street, which would require some permits, and because of the winter weather to open up Main Street, it's going to be very difficult to do this time of year. 13 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 MR. NOTARI: Are they permits that we have to apply for? MR. LOPATKA: That's an HOP. The borough has one yearly. I just have to see if it's upgraded. Next we'11 to go our engineer, Dave Lopatka. Dave, anything to add to your report? MR. LOPATKA: I don't have anything to add, no. MR. RUSSEL RINALDI: Any members have any questions for Dave? MR. NOTARI: Dave, how about just an update on the progress at the borough building. MR. LOPATKA: We had a meeting this morning. Everything is moving along pretty quickly now. They got the footers and everything poured out front, they got the trench and all the conduit installed in the back to go to the generator. They will be 14 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 pouring that pad for the generator next week or the week after. They've been sheetrocking. Most of the borough office area now is framed up. I think they have some framing to do still in the police area, put those walls up. But everything seems to be moving pretty good right now. MR. HOOVER: Dave, those three change orders that we received? MS. BARTOLETTI: Eleven, 12, 13. MR. LOPATKA: Yeah. MR. HOOVER: We have ten change orders to date. What's the total on those ten? MR. LOPATKA: I don't know off the top of my head, but it's somewhere around 30,000, I think. The one change order that they sent is, I think it was 13, was a credit for the back railing. MR. HOOVER: For the back railing. So there's another $12,000 in these other three change orders? That's what they add up to. MR. LOPATKA: I don't know. NOTARI: Thanks, Dave. I know it doesn't seem important to some people but 1 think it's important to all of us. MR. LOPATKA: I think it's important, too. I mean, a rendering would be nice, and actually it would be nice if we put it on a big board and put it out in front of the building. MR. NOTARI: Absolutely. MR. FEBBO: Absolutely. MR. I've had a couple people tell me it looks like Weissman's out here with the cannon and the anchor and everything. MR. LOPATKA: I can inquire about it. Dunmore put one in a couple years ago. I'm not sure what their cost was. MS. BARTOLETTI: I have e-mails about those that I can look into, if you'd like, as well. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Do you have anything to add? CHIEF DUBERNAS: No. The report I gave you guys, I gave you the year-end report and everything from all the calls we had last year. I included the breakdown for comm center for you guys, too, if you guys received all that. MR. FEBBO: Chief, it was a good job. It was very thorough. MS. AVVISATO: It was a good report. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Thanks, Chief. Anybody have any questions for the chief? MR. Since we started using Municipay for allowing people to use their credit cards to pay their bills we've had 40 transactions that total over $18,000. That's pretty much all I have. The clock company, Lou, that you had asked about is Verdin, if anyone wants to take a look at anything. It's called the Verdin Clock Company. MR. FEBBO: Thank you. MS. And the street and the alley, I kind of think the one down by Dunbar's is already Orchard Street. The other one, I sent a picture to Marylynn for everybody to take a look at because I think it's an alley in and an alley out, it looks like to me. There's not a name on either one of those streets behind Solfanelli's law office off Sibley. So I just have to advertise the ordinance, which would be the name, and I'm probably going to need some kind of a description. Maybe we can find something. I can work with Dave to get a description. I don't know if you want to name the one or both because I can't say from Sibley to an unnamed -- I don't know what that is on the other end either. It looks like another alley that comes off Keyser, there. Unless there's a street sign that doesn't come up on Google Earth. But if you look at the aerial you'11 see the way it's loops around. It's like an L. MR. FEBBO: Can we just name it Panusky Way or whatever : ATTY. RINALDI: They're actually two roads, I think. CHIEF DUBERNAS: It's between Shaffer's house and Panusky's house. It actually surrounds the law office. ATTY. RINALDI: Is there a sign there or anything? Is it a driveway more or is it an actual alley? What is it? CHIEF DUBERNAS: It's an alleyway. It comes off of Keyser and makes an L to come to Sibley, or you can come on Sibley and come out to Keyser. I'm not sure of the name of it. We always just had it as an alleyway. ATTY. RINALDI: Do we plow it and maintain it? CHIEF DUBERNAS: I wouldn't know that. Joe would know that. I want to say sO because Panusky's house is on that. ATTY. RINALDI: It looks like there's some houses on it. I'm assuming those are the streets everybody referred to at the work session that they want to name. MR. PAPI: We always plowed them. ATTY. NOTARI: They asked to have it named something else than Rear Keyser or Rear Sibley. It was in our packet last month. CHIEF DUBERNAS: Because in front of Panusky's house there is a house there, and then it's his house that's in the alleyway. MR. HOOVER: The one off Sibley Avenue.
