I sent it to them. You guys take a look at it, Tet me know what you want to do with it. I know at that number it probably will have to be bid, unless there's something in there that can be removed. Civil Service gave a physical test and a written. The written is sent out to Chicago to have them graded. We had four applicants. We're down to three. One backed out. Second, our rifles that were on order from eight and a half months ago finally came in and they're in service. They came in three days before we went to the range last week. So we were able to get them all together and get them in service. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Anything else? CHIEF DUBERNAS: That's it. Once the test results come in oral interviews will start with the Civil Service Board. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Anybody have any questions for the chief? MR. NOTARI: I don't know if it's your department or Lenceski or both. I know we're having a problem with vandalism again at Miles. I was wondering if we put spotlights on the top of the fence pointing down at least to illuminate the area. MR. SOKOLOWSKI: I'17 take a look at it. MR. NOTARI: Just a suggestion just to keep that lit better, maybe. CHIEF DUBERNAS: My guys are doing park checks. They're actually doing bathroom checks now. I told my guys if they don't feel comfortable grab a parent and ask them to check. With them now checking the bathrooms every 15, 20 minutes : MR. NOTARI: I thought it was odd it's sO dark. STULL: Just that this upcoming Saturday is the fire department's 5K. It starts at 9:00 in the morning and will be running until about 10:30, 10:45. So everything is coordinated with Jay. Miles Street will be blocked off for probably about two hours in front of the football stadium. I - did talk to Pa. Bedding. RINALDI: Other than the pleadings are closed. I just sent a letter to his attorney. He's requesting an occupancy permit. I told him he can't get one until he completes his subdivision requirement. So we haven't gotten any plans. MR. SOKOLOWSKI: Nothing yet. ATTY. RINALDI: The last meeting I was at they came in and said they were going to modify the plans to do an addition. MR. ZUKAUSKUS: So was he fined? After the court hearing wasn't the judge fining him a certain amount per day and this is adding up? Isn't there thousands of dollars involved right now? ATTY. RINALDI: He appealed that. We filed - MR. ZUKAUSKUS: So he appealed the thousands of dollars of fines, sO that : ATTY. RINALDI: He appealed that hearing, sO he gets a new hearing. RINALDI: Yes. MR. ZUKAUSKUS: And as far as the new hearing I'd have to contact the magistrate? ATTY. RINALDI: No, that's down in county court. MR. ZUKAUSKUS: It's in Scranton. So I call the courthouse in Scranton to ask when this guy is going to stand before : ATTY. RINALDI: Well, you can but it hasn't been listed yet. MR. ZUKAUSKUS: Okay. Another thing, first of all, I want to thank you for what you've done as far as the junk monkey on Main Street. There's a big improvement as far as Babylon is concerned. I'd want to thank you very much for that. What I'd like to bring up now is this bus stop, the bench. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Mr. Zukauskus, the bus stop, we're not putting a building back. If we're going to be spending $13,000 on a clock that doesn't work. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: We're not in control of that clock. MR. NOTARI: Would you go to the podium, please. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: I'm going to ask our solicitor, our zoning officer to look into the requirements in order for a bench to be placed. MR. ZUKAUSKUS: Just a bench. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: I'11 have to look into that to see, number one, if it's legal for us to put one there, what the requirements are. I'17 get back to you or if you come to a meeting or I can call you in a couple days. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Whenever council decides as a majority to move forward with it. I mean, if somebody brought up tonight to make a motion for it we'd pass it tonight. Our first item is going to be a motion for a change order to Linde Corporation in the amount of $1,649.56. This was for the project on Josephine Street. The sewer project. MR. LOPATKA: It was actually connected below the manhole, sO we needed to tie it into the new manhole because that lower section was being abandoned.
