Berggren Absent: C. Fine Mayor, B. Churilla Engineer Present: J. Fine, A. Casebar, B. Williams, G. Tirpak, B. Boyd There being a quorum present, the meeting was called to order. Visitors: Corrina Withrow of 401 Sycamore Street addressed Council regarding the Sycamore Street storm water pipe, due to a conversation between Ms. Withrow and Council President J. Fine she requested the resignation ofJ J. Fine from Council. Council President. J. Fine motioned for reorganization. A. Casebar seconded the motion. The motion was defeated by the following roll call taken by the Secretary: Yeas: None Nays: A. Casebar, B. Williams, G. Tirpak, B. Boyd, J. Fine. Total Yeas: 0 Total Nays: 5. Ms. Withrow continues with concerns of the sewer pipe that is allegedly under her house. She would like the pipe fixed. Solicitor T. Berggren informed Ms. Withrow that the Borough is not liable because of the Michelle Dehosse of 124 Fourth. Ave reported that the painting oft the Maple Avenue ball field wasa Bob Lawrence of 442 Fourth Avenue is requesting the neighbor at 444 Fourth Avenue remove his vehicle that is blocking the right of way behind their residence. A3 30-minute parking sign will bei installed. Cindy Belavich of 434 Fourth Avenue is concerned about the property blight at 436 Fourth Avenue. Garbage is piled up on the back oft the porch. Weeds and grass are over growing the property. George Eckert President of the Monongahela Revitalization Committee informed Council that there will be a Town Hall meeting on Monday September 17, 2018 at the Monongahela Fire Hall for the 46th and the 49th Senatorial Legislative Candidates. September 29, 2018 willl be the: second 5k run from Chess Tanya Chaney of 821 Maple Avenue is concerned about the property at 823 Maple Avenue. The owner of the property has been killing the grass. She believes this is causing ai fire hazard it is also an issue for pets int the area and is very unsightly.
