284  APRIL 3, 2019  MILLERSVILLE BOROUGHPLANNNG COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES The Millersville Borough Planning Commission Meeting was called to order by Chair Lauren Hauck with the pledge to the flag followed with a moment ofs silence on Wednesday, April 3, 2019at7:00  PM: in the Borough Hall at 100 Municipal Drive, Millersville Pennsylvania.  COMMITTEE MEMBERS  Lauren Hauck, Chair Gary G. Hess, Secretary James A. Stager  Michael Weidinger  OTHERS PRESENT  Michael Tuscan, Borough Code Enforcement & Zoning Officer  Elliott Hauck, 354 Manor Avenue Chris Wiggins, Student, Reighard Hall ELECTION OF OFFICERS  1. Chairwoman Hauck opened up the floor for nominations of Chairman. Mr. Weidinger nominated Lauren Hauck for position of Chair; receiving a second to the nomination by James Stager, the 2. Mr. Weidinger then nominated Michael Walker for the position of Vice-Chair; receiving a second tot the nomination by James Stager, the nomination ofMr. Walker as Vice-Chair was unanimous. 3. After receiving a unanimous 'voice nomination, Mr. Hess was re-elected to the position of  nomination of Mrs. Hauck as Chair was unanimous.  Secretary. MINUTES None  SECRETARY'S REPORT  None  CITIZENS REQUESTS AND CONCERNS (5) MINUTE LIMIT)  None NEW BUSINESS  1. 2019 Community Block Grant Application Support Letter for West Frederick Street and Ms. Hauck entertained a discussion on the letter presented to the Commission in support of applying for the Grant money to make infrastructure improvements such as replace sewer/ stormwater lines and curbs on South Duke Street into and including the intersection with West Frederick Street. After al brief discussion on the letter and the project a motion was made by Mr. Weidinger and was seconded by Ms. Hauck, that the Millersville Borough Planning Commission endorses the plan and letter written as signed by the Planning Chair. The motion passed bya  South Duke Street Intersection Improvements  unanimous vote.
