Cronk, Secretary/Treasurer: CONSENTITEMS Acceptance of Agenda as presented: Motion carried. MOTION: Kevin Boyd moved, Raymond Reichart seconded, to accept agenda as presented. Approval of Minutes of December 6, 2023: MOTION: Jeff Roan moved, Kevin Boyd. seconded, to accept minutes of December 6, 2023 Meeting. Motion carried. PUBLIC HEARING No community members in attendance. NEW BUSINESS SEWER: AGRANT in the amount of $500,000.00 has been awarded to the Orangeville Borough for the Improvement of the Sewer infrastructure. Possibly use a portion of these funds to address issues regarding the Water Plant. Ensuring our connection with the Governmental Portal of SAM our Grant willl be available on or around March 1, 2024. Following the receipt of the Grant the Borough is responsible for submitting a report every eight months of our progress in upgrading our Sèwer infrastructure. A new and separate Account will be initiated called Sewer and Water Upgrades to efficiently monitor expenditures. A Special Meeting will be called at a later date to address Councils concerns and needs for the areas to be addressed regarding the water and sewer systems. Phoenix should also be contacted to accept any guidance they may offer in necessary repairs and upgrades. An additional letter will be written to Orange Township regarding the installation of the necessary Flow Meter for the new Hess Store and car wash. The Township will be given two weeks from the time they receive this letter to have the Meter installed or Orangeville Borough will install this Meter and charge Orange Township for the installation by Martz. It is agreed by the Council that the Orange Township begin to abide by the stipulations laid down int the Sewer. Agreement between the Orangeville Borough and Orange Township. AS of January 1, 2024 Orangeville Borough will begin billing Orange Township for their portion of the agreed Contract. MAINTENANCE: Additional lighting was requested for the garage. 8' LED light bar would be sufficient. MOTION: Jeff Roan moved to purchase additional lighting for the garage, Raymond Reichard seconded. Motion Carried. Kevin Boyd will install the new and additional lighting. efficient lighting. The cost of this additional outlet will $365.00. MOTION: Jeff Roan moved to use the Bid sight to sell unused items, Ray Reichard seconded Motion carried. MOTION: Kevin Boyd moved to permit Jason Welliver to purchase signs as needed, Jeff Roan seconded. Motion carried. MOTION: Jeff Roan also moved to donate the Orangeville Borough sign to Paul Reichart for his museum, Raymond Reichard seconded. Motion carried.
