LOPATKA: I didn't submit one. MR. RUSSEL RINALDI: We have the payment applications. MR. LOPATKA: I didn't get you a report. I'11 give a quick rundown. So the borough building, all the stone is up. They have a little bit of stuff to do with the facia on the front of the building. The elevator, there's a meeting on January 3rd with the security company, Vector, and the elevator company. They're meeting there so they can make sure that everything gets addressed all in one shot. We did do a punch list walk through last week where we marked out a bunch of spots where they need to touch up and anything else that they needed to do. So they're in the process of doing that. They're supposed to be finishing the 11 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 outside, grading it. They're going to seed it. They may have to come back in the spring, depending on what comes up and what doesn't. But for the most part the inside of the building is just about done. There are some minor things we have punch listed, sO hopefully after the 3rd, when that inspection is done, we can hopefully get it closed out. MR. FEBBO: Is everything set up n the front, cannon and all that? MR. LOPATKA: I think they actually are. Everything in the front is back where it was. MS. BARTOLETTI: We're going to redo part of it in the spring. We're going to bring in our own contractor, the cannon and the monument. MR. FEBBO: What about the clock? MS. BARTOLETTI: The clock is going to be the next thing. We're trying to get this part finished. MR. LOPATKA: We have the electrical out, sO when the clock goes in they don't 12 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 have to punch through the building. Then the landscaping will be done in the spring, too. We did do a landscape plan for the bed, so that will be going in in the springtime. MR. NOTARI: So, do we think we'1l be moved back in by the end of January? MR. LOPATKA: I believe. MS. BARTOLETTI: My plan is the second week of January to start moving the offices over. MR. NOTARI: And once the offices are moved back in will they start on the front of the : MR. LOPATKA: That stuff has been ordered, sO once they get the senior center windows and all that they'11 come back and do that. But we don't want to hold them up on the main building. MS. AVVISATO: It looks beautiful. MR. LOPATKA: Russ, you do have two payment applications. Idid meet with the school board guys and walked the site with them. They wanted to see where the corners were. I met 13 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 with them about a week and a half ago, showed them where the corners were, they seemed fine with that. They have to get approval by the board. Hopefully that will be done once and for all. ATTY. RINALDI: We'17 take it back to planning, get it reapproved. MR. NOTARI: For the third time. MR. LOPATKA: They seemed like they were fine with the plan. ATTY. RINALDI: The solicitor said it will be on their agenda for January. MR. Eagle's engine, they blew the head gasket. It will be out for probably three, four weeks. That's not going to do anything for fire protection. It was out of service yesterday. MR. Of course, the budget you have. You have an ordinance amending your current sewer ordinance that we discussed at the last several meetings. You have a resolution to enter into as shutoff agreement with Pa. American Water Company that's provided by that ordinance. You have a resolution allowing for a draw down on remaining funds of your general obligation of 2020 with People's Security Bank. There was $184,000 left over. The city of Scranton wants to form a regional authority to deal with storm water in the county. They feel that it's best if the municipalities join together, as things would be cheaper. There was a presentation they put on which I believe I forwarded to you in the e-mail this afternoon. If you didn't get it let me know and I'17 send it again. But basically it would be cheaper for us to join a regional authority in the long run in terms of costs that will be inflicted by things that we need to do with storm water management. So if you look over that stuff, I'm sure we'17 have another meeting. I know we had a little bit of a setback this year, I know, with the borough building. I know we joked around a little bit, I know we got serious a little bit about it, too. But it's a tough job. So if they know you by name and they're saying good things about you in the borough office, I think that's a real good plus. That's a real good thing on your part. So thank you for all your work over the years and thank you for everything you've done. Bill, from the solicitor's standpoint, thank you. It's definitely not an easy job as well.
