Motion Carried PUBLIC HEARING Charlie Mannen expressed concerns regarding the sale of the Grainery Property. He is concerned who purchased the property and what business may be installed there. Charlie was given a copy of the letter that the Borough received from Fema addressing the responsibilities of the land holder. Fema is involved in all aspects of development of any property developed in at flood plain. Charlie also made inquiries regarding the carwash being installed at the new Hess property. Kevin Boyd explained that the Borough is in negotiations with Orange Township ensuring that Hess Market adheres to the Sewer Dot Roan, Real Estate Broker, requested information regarding a property on upper Pine Street. Chamberlains' own property at the upper most corner of Pine. They wish to sell this property and are interested in the possibilities of hooking up a connection from said property to Orangeville Borough water and sewer. A water pump must be installed to connect to public water at the property owners stipulations and guidelines within the Sewer Agreement. expense. The connection fee will be $1,000.00. NEW BUSINESS (WATER) Kevin Boyd estimates that the Water Project is half completed. Jim Tumolo did all necessary digging for water lines and also recovered. Concern for safety of Water Plant regarding hazardous trees hanging near and over the Water Plant was addressed by Kevin Boyd. He believes approximately 12 MOTION: Kevin Boyd moved and Raymond D. Reichart seconded to obtain bids to have trees removed. DCED Board Meeting is set for November: 11, 2023, at such time the determination as to who will receive the Grant that Kevin Lehman applied fori in March, 2023.will be granted. October 2, 2023 was the dead line for Orange Township to have the new water meter repaired and or replaced at the line connecting the Borough and Township. To date the meter has not been repaired. At this time the Orangeville Borough may repair and or replace the meter at the cost to the Orange A Water Certificate of Deposit will become due October 17, 2023. MOTION: Raymond D Reichart moved to cash int the Water C.D. and all other C.D's pending, Jeff Roan seconded. Motion carried. (SEWER) Continued discussion regarding Sewer Agreement with Orange Township. Concerns how the Borough should move forward with ensuring that the Orange Township complies to their responsibilities regarding their participation in the upgrade to the Sewer Plant and their involvement in the completion An meeting with. Attorney Anthony McDonald was agreed upon to be the best avenue to get information toe effectively move forward with Orange Township. Secretary will contact Attorneys' office to set up trees should be eliminated. Motion carried. Township. of the new Hess Market. meeting with Orangeville Borough. OLD BUSINESS Ryon Reichart will continue to move forward to obtain Grant for Network improvement Jeff Roan to contact DEP regarding the elimination of mosquitoes for the fall season. The dumpster located at the Sewer Area will cost $85.00 a month for pick up. Basketball Hoops are to be completed.
