Baker reported on resident coming in stating the rental property has water smelling like gas. M. Logan reported on records found that does not rule out possibility of underground gas tanks left at square. Council asked ifi it would be appropriate to have someone check their water themselves. M. Pykosh stated yes per rental ordinance. D. Logan and M. Logan will volunteer to contact to check. Then maybe next step is contacting DEP. Will report on results. New Business N/A Unfinished Business 1. LSA Application Update-no change 2. N. Spencer Maintenance Contract- M. Pykosh discussed with council about alleyways. Council discussed the possibility of hiring for maintenance/snow removal. 3. Ordinance for Mailboxes- M. Pykosh- working on it 4. Office/Newburg Handbook- M. Pykosh- still working on just got draft. 5. Intergovernmental Agreement with Hopewell- M. Pykosh sent, M. Logan read over. Council requested tor remove section three, and to add to cover the cost of our Maintenance hourly pay. 6. Wire Organization Quotes-doesn't have any quotes keep on agenda. 7. Office Battery Pack Quote find out what it is for exactly before getting quotes. Keep on agenda. 8. Bucket Truck Update/Quote for repair $- do not have at this time. 9. Logan requested to sign up for courses 3/27 Code Enforcement, 4/24 trucks on local roads, 5/7 Ethics act State ethics laws, M. Logan entertained a motion to allow herself to take these classes spending no more than $170; H. Straley first passed the motion, B. Starliper seconded, H. Straley entertained a motion to take the Sunshine Act, F. Moore as well. Chair entertained motion for $45 each (D. Logan; F. Moore) to take webinar on Code Enforcement, as well as ethics classes at $25 each (H. Straley, F. Moore, B. Starliper, D. Logan), as well as Sunshine Act classes two part series as $100 each (all of council); B. Starliper first approved the motion, H. Straley seconded. 3. A. Metcalfe attendance for PSAB Conference $250 Full Package- M. Logan entertained a motion for A. Metcalfe to attend the PSAB Conference $250 full package (no hotel room necessary); H. Straley first 5. Moore asked if we were going to do another round of Hometown Hero Banners, we would need at least 10 to place an order. F. Moore discussed elevating crosswalks. Council advised PennDOT already said we could NOT do that. F. Moore discussed how it should be on record how Council is trying to make Newburg safer. M. Logan discussed working with K. Baker to make an itinerary for the office almost like how Maintenance now has. D. Logan is looking forward to getting a clear Adjournment- M. Logan entertained a motion to dismiss at 8:38pm; H.
