BOROUGH OF FOUNTAIN HILL COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES  January 18, 2019 5:30P.M.  Council members present were: Ms. Jordan, Mr. Blatt, Mr. Trotter, Mr. Atkinson, Mr. Trabel, and Ms. Halleman. Also, in attendance were Cordula Voges (Finance Officer), Council Member Council President Leo Atkinson called the meeting to order and asked for everyone to rise for the  applicant, Mr. Francis Ferencin, and guests.  Pledge to the Flag.  Mr. Atkinson re-iterated that the purpose of the Special Meeting was to interview the following  candidates for the one (1) year open Council seat  Vanessa K. Figueroa Francis Ferencin.  Mr. Albert Rohrbach, a part-time Borough employee, had withdrawn his application after finding out that in boroughs with populations over 3,000 no elected official may serve as an employee of Council President noted that both candidates had already introduced themselves to Council at the January 7, 2019 Council meeting and presented their resumes. He also noted that Ms. Figueroa had excused herselffrom the Special Meeting due to time conflict. Mr. Trotter asked Mr. Ferencin what suggestion Mr. Ferencin would make as a Council member to improve matters in the Borough. Mr. Ferencin listed his experience as a past council member and his long residency in  the borough.  the Borough as assets to improve matters in the Borough.
