A State Police representative typically comes to a public Council Meeting and explains the type of patrol services they provide. Mr. Branco noted some of the benefits of a local police force versus State Police patrol services. The Police Chief emphasized that State Police does not enforcel local ordinances but only work on a "priority" basis. Council returned from the Executive Session at 8:50 PM. On ai motion by Ms. Jordan, seconded by Mr. Trotter Ms. Cordula Voges was promoted to the position of Finance Director with a salary of$65,000/year effective immediately.
