COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S REPORT Council President Atkinson thanked the participants in this year's Trick or Treat The annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be held on 12/8/2019 starting at Mr. Atkinson reminded that the Borough will be holding a public meeting on November 14, 2019 at 7 pm at the St. Luke's Hospital Laros Auditorium to explain the various aspects and responsibilities under the MS4 Program and Pollutant Another budget meeting as a Committee As A Whole will need to be scheduled in activities. 4PM at Cherokee St. across from the Fire Department. SPECIAL OR SELECT COMMITTEES Ms. Jordan reported that the Book Mobile is moved to Laurys Station for final preparations. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR - Discussion on Non - Agenda Items Ms. E. J. Ammend of 834 Tombler Street reminded Council again to consider Parking Permits in order to alleviate the parking issues mainly caused by St. Luke's students and employees taking residents' parking spaces. Mr. Manzanares, St. Luke's VP of Operations, assured that they are working on possible solutions, including additional hospital parking on the previous Reeb Millwork premises. Council President Atkinson and thel Borough Managerinvited Mr. Manzanares tol briefly discuss after the public meeting. Mr. Knoble also suggested "zoned parking" to alleviate the parking issues. Ms. Lyskawa of 943 Long Street asked to consider two 4-Way Stop signs at the intersections of Seneca/Clewell and Cherokee/Clewell to slow down traffic. The Borough Manager will inquire with thel Borough Engineering firm about at trafficstudy! beforehand. Mr. Brian Ferencinn mentioned that Radar Trailers - however costly at approximately $20k - can also be a means to slow down traffic. EXECUTIVE SESSION (ifneeded) -none.
