Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority 4011 BlnirStreet,Holldayaburg,Penawylvanla18648 814/695-7543  HOLLIDAYSBURG SEWER AUTHORITY MEETING BOROUGH COUNCIL CHAMBERS FEBRUARY 13, 2023 AT 5PM  The Sewer Authority Meeting was called to order at 5:00pm by Chairman Regis Nale, who presided. The following authority members were present - James Burke, James Fitch, and Carol Gale. Also in attendance were Borough Manager James Gehret; Frank Hicks, Jr., Director of Wastewater Operations;  Dan Beyer of The EADS Group; and Jessica Oswald, Recording Secretary.  The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Minutes: Amotion was made by Ms. Gale to accept the January 9, 2023 meeting minutes. The motion  was seconded by Mr. Burke. The motion passed unanimously. Engineer's Report: Mr. Beyer had nothing additional to report. Treasurer's Report: Mr. Gehret had nothing additional to report.  Management Report: The manager's report was outlined in the agenda packet provided to the The schedules for the Phase III project and the Berwind Road Sanitary Sewer Installation project were  Authority Members for their review. Unfinished Business: There was no unfinished business to be discussed.  New Business:  Resolution S-2023-2A - Resolution Authorizing the Submission of the Part I Water Quality Management Permit Application for the Phase II Sanitary Sewer Improvements Projects and Authorizing the Appropriate Officers of the Authority to Execute the Application on Behalf of the Authority. - Following some discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Fitch and seconded by Mr. Burke to approve Resolution S-2023-2A - authorizing the submission of the Part II Water Quality Management Permit Application for the Phase III Sanitary Sewer Improvements Projects and authorizing the appropriate officers of the Authority to execute the application on behalf of the Authority. The motion passed unanimously. Resolution S-2023-2B - A Resolution Approying/Denying. a Request for 823 Montgomery Street to Deduct Sewer Charges for Sewer Usage in Excess of the Normal Amount - Following some discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Burke and seconded by Ms. Gale to approve Resolution S-2023-2B - approving a request for 823 Montgomery Street to deduct sewer charges in the amount of $183.97 for  sewer usage in excess of the normal amount. The motion passed unanimously.  HSA-2-13-2023  Page 1of2    Motion - Authorizing the Chairman to Sign the 2022 Wasteload Management Report (Chapter 94) - Following some discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Burke and seconded by Mr. Fitch to authorize the Chairman to sign the 2022 Wasteload Management Report (Chapter 94). The motion passed Motion - Authorizing the appropriate officers to sign. on behalf of the Authority, an Agreement for Professional Services Between the Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority and the EADS Group. Inc. (Retainer for General Services) Following some discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Burke and seconded by Ms. Gale to authorize the appropriate officers to sign, on behalf of the Authority, an agreement between the Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority and the EADS Group, Inc, (Retainer for General Services). The  unanimously.  motion passed unanimously.  Requests for Payment and Requisitions:  Resolution S-2023-2C Approving and authorizing payment of the following expenses and requisitions.
