f  Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority 401B BlairStreet,Hollidayburg.Pemmyylvanla16648 814/695-7543  HOLLIDAYSBURG SEWER AUTHORITY MEETING BOROUGH COUNCIL CHAMBERS NOVEMBER 13, 2023 AT 5PM  The Sewer Authority Meeting was called to order at 5:00pm by Chairman Regis Nale, who presided. The following authority members were present - James Fitch and Carol Gale. Also in attendance were Frank Hicks, Jr., Director of Wastewater Operations; Borough Manager James Gehret; Dan Beyers of the EADS Group; and Jessica Oswald, Recording Secretary. Authority members James Burke and  Randall Manning were not in attendance. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Minutes: A motion was made by Mr. Fitch to accept the October 9, 2023 meeting minutes. The motion  was seconded by Ms. Gale. The motion passed unanimously. Engineer's Report: There was nothing additional to add tot the agenda. Treasurer's Report: There was nothing additional to add to the agenda.  Management Report: The manager's report was outlined in the agenda packet provided to the Authority Members for their review. There was discussion on the bids received for the Phase III Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. It was the consensus of the Authority to pursue using the Itwas the consensus of the Authority to move forward with advertising the following 2024 Sewer  anticipated surplus of PENNVEST funds for an additional stormwater project. Authority scheduled as presented. Meeting time will remain 5:00 pm. New Business:  Resolution S-2023-11A - A Resolution to Borrow - Authorizing the Securing of Funding from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST). A motion was made by Ms. Gale and  HSA-11-13-2023  Page 1of2    seconded by Mr. Fitch to approve Resolution S-2023-11A authorizing the securing of funding from Resolution S-2023-11B-A Approving Award of Contract No. 2023-01 for the Hollidaysburg Sanitary Sewer Separation and Improvements Project - Phase III to Kukurin Contracting, Inc. and authorizing the appropriate officers of the Holidaysburg Sewer Authority to execute the contract documents on behalf of the Authority, A motion was made by Mr. Fitch and seconded by Ms. Gale to approve Resolution Motion - A motion was made by Ms. Gale and seconded by Mr. Fitch to authorize the appropriate officers of the Authority to execute an easement agreement between the Hollidaysburg Sewer. Authority  PENNVEST. The motion passed unanimously.  S-2023-11B. The motion passed unanimously.  and the County of Blair. The motion passed unanimously. Requests for Payment and Requisitions:  Resolution S-2023-11C - Approving and authorizing payment oft the following expenses and requisitions. A motion was made by Mr. Fitch and seconded by Ms. Gale to approve the following payments. There was discussion on the proposed budget.  Additional Discussion:  Correspondence: Any correspondence was included with the agenda for the Authority's review.
