The following authority members were present - James Burke, James Fitch, Carol Gale and Ralph Miller. Also in attendance were Frank Hicks, Jr., Director of Wastewater Operations; Borough Manager Jim Gehret; Dan Beyer of the EADS Group; and Jessica Oswald, Recording Secretary. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes: Mr. Nale had one change to the January 10, 2022 meeting minutes. On page two in the 'Additional Discussion' section, the statement "There was discussion about the basement drains in the lower Gaysport area."was changed to There was discussion about basement drains in properties located in the 100-year floodplain." A motion was made by Mr. Burke to accept the January 10, 2022 meeting minutes with the noted change. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fitch. The motion passed unanimously. Engineer's Report: Mr. Beyer had nothing additional to report at this time. Treasurer's Report: Mr. Gehret had nothing additional to report at this time. Management Report: The manager's report was outlined in the agenda packet provided to the An update was requested on the non-compliant properties in the Phase I and Phase II project areas, Following some discussion, Chairman Nale made a motion to send a 30-day collection notice to 1010 Spruce Street and to also request the Authority's solicitor to attend the March 14, 2022 meeting to discuss how to move forward on all of the non-compliant properties. The motion was seconded by Mr. Proposals were received for the conceptual Phase II project. Staff plans to provide the Authority with its Authority Members for their review. Fitch. HSA-2-14-2022 Page 1 of2 New Business: Resolution S-2022-2A- Resolution Approving-Denying a request for 205 Allegheny Street to deduct sewer charges for sewer usage in excess of the normal amount. Following some discussion, a motion was made by Ms. Gale and seconded by Mr. Burke to approve the deduction in sewer charges for 205 Allegheny Street. The motion passed unanimously. Requests for Payment and Requisitions: Resolution S-2022-2B- Approving and authorizing payment of the following expenses and requisitions. A motion was made by Mr. Fitch and seconded by Mr. Miller to approve the following payments.
