The referenced dam is own by Cascades We understand that, the City of Rockingham would like to remove the Midway Dam for the restoration of Hitchcock Creek to natural flow conditions. Considering the above, Cascades has no objection to such City project. ("Cascades") owns Midway Dam (the "Dam") which is immediately adjacent toi its Rockingham facility an located on Hitchcock Creek (the "Creek"). The City of Rockingham (the "City") would like to enter into a Memo of Agreement (the' Agreement") with Cascades to remove thel Dam fort the public purpose of restoring Hitchcock Creek to natural flow conditions whereby enhancing aquatic habitat, restoration riparian buffers, restoration of traditional fish passages, etc. Considering the above, Cascades has no objection to such City project. Youth Basketball - All schedules are current and we should conclude this season the middle of March. Note: Our newest league for 5 and 6 yr. olds ("Little Ballers") has been well received with large crowds every Friday night. This has proven to be a nice introduction for children of this age and we're glad we took the opportunity to provide this addition to our basketball program. Youth Soccer- Registration deadline is Thursday, March 1st. Enrollment to date has been steady, and with the change in our registration process, final results should prove interesting.
