Consideration of approval of purchase contract awarded to Carolina Environmental Systems, Inc for the requisition of (2) Heil DP 5000-25 cubic yard rear loaders mounted on 2019 Navistar 7400 Cab/Chassis per specifications in the amount of $362,480.00. Attached please find purchase offer for (2) Heil DP 5000-25 yard Rear Loaders to replace two existing units in City's residential sanitation collection fleet. These new units are replacing a 1996 and a 2002 unit. The purchase contract is offered under the National Joint Purchasing contract for state and The current FY 19/20 budget contains an appropriation of 363,000. Based on lease purchase payments of 75,000 annually for 5 years. The lease purchase contract will be awarded by City Council at September, 2019 meeting. Youth Soccer- Registration concludes Friday, August gth. Summer Programs- Our summer programming that includes day camp, swim camp, and public swimming concludes Saturday, August 16th. We have experienced an approximate 30% increase in participation for our day camp and swim camp programs this season. We're serving on average 130 children daily.
