Town of Bermuda Run Town Council Meeting Minutes August 13, 2024 - 6:00 PM  The Town Council of Bermuda Run held its scheduled meeting on' Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Council Members Present: Mayor Mike Brannon, Mike Ernst, Rae Nelson, Christy Schafer,  6:00. PM. The meeting was held at the Bermuda Run Town Hall.  Melinda Szeliga, and JeffTedder  Council Members Absent: Also Present:  Andrew Meadwell, Town Manager; Cindy Poe, Town Clerk; and Brian  Williams, Town Attorney  Call to Order Mayor Mike Brannon called the meeting to order and recognized the Quorum. Envision in Concert 8/31 at 7 pm  2024 Property Tax Bills/Revaluation Process- - Representative from Tax Office to speak later Suzanne Wright with Davie Health and Human Services to speak at September Meeting 25-year Anniversary oft the Town - Christy Schafer was asked to speak regarding the banners and the celebrations beginning on September 27 with an enhanced Food Truck Friday.    Council Comments-  Council Member Melinda Szeliga shared the "Venture Davie" 3-month program that willl be held at the Bermuda Run campus of] Davie/Davidson Community College next door to Town Hall. Itis free and Mrs. Szeliga then announced that she will be tendering her resignation from the Town Council effective 8/14/24 due to a career change that may cause a conflict with her service on the council. She will  an asset to anyone who is starting (or wanting to boost) their own business.  remain an active member oft the Bermuda Run Vision Committee.  Adjourn none opposed.
