Milenskii included information on 701 Sycamore Avenue. Milenski thanked Council for allowing her to attend thel Nature & Children's conference. Milenski reported on an meeting held with School Superintendent Kermit Schneider regarding thes school's utility bill. Board continues tol look for someone to take over the restaurant. Barron reported on Arts Commission news and thanked all the Grand Theater volunteers. There willl be noi movie att the Grand over the weekend. Barron informed all of thel history ofi the Grand Theater. Attended the Fireside Chat. Thanked everyone for work done after the recent rains. Councimember Martinez reported the following: Martinez reported that! he attended the Fireside Chat and Martinez encouraged people to attend. Tree Board President Diane Marshall reported that all planter boxes had been planted. Marshall asked Council to set a work session to discuss a plan for the city to take care oft trees. Pool is looking good. Attended a small business work shop. Councilmember Cordova reported the following: Councilmember Roberts reported thet following: Chamber has many events planned. Councilmember Mullins reported the following: Mullins reported on events at the Museum. Mayor Gurulé reported the following: Cordova has been working on events for Rocky Ford. Roberts reported that the Chamber of Commerce is helping to work on acommercial promoting the area. Gurulé attended some pool parties sincei it's been opened. An anonymous donor purchased pool passes and asked that they be given to children in need. Attended the Cruisin' intol Fun. Attended the Southern Colorado Economic Development Business meeting. They youth summer lunch program began on. June 10th. Stacey and Duane will attend a meeting on Friday. OCLI/OPI willl have a meeting next week. Agrant was awarded fromt the Colorado Health Program for outdoor programming for youth activities. Will attend the Colorado Municipal League conference this month.
