MINUTES  REGULAR MEETING OF THE SAN MARINO PLANNING COMMISSION WEDNESDAY,JUNE 26, 2024 AT 6:00 P.M. CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS  CALL TO ORDER: Chair Cheng called the regular meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. via teleconference and in person at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 2200 Huntington Drive,  San Marino, CA 91108.  PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Chair Cheng led the Pledge of Allegiance.  ROLL CALL:  PRESENT: Commissioner Mequet, Commissioner Dustin, Vice Chair  Boyle, and Chair Cheng  ABSENT: Commissioner Gatsoulis-Batni, (Excused)  PUBLIC COMMENTS  The following person(s) provided comment:  None PUBLIC HEARINGS  I. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL FOR DESIGN REVIEW CASE NO. DR 23- 75 & DR 24-22 TO CONSTRUCT A NEW TWO-STORY HOME WITH A DETACHED 2-CAR GARAGE, A NEW FRONT WALL, AND THE REMOVAL OF (1) HERITAGE TREE AT 1826 SOUTH EUCLID AVENUE. (LCRA)  Associate Planner Camillia Martinez presented the staff report.  The following person(s) provided comment:  Adele Chang (Applicant) Doulos Kun (Homeowner)  Raymond Porter (Neighbor - 1818 South Euclid Avenue)  Commissioner Dustin moved, seconded by Vice Chair Boyle, to approve Design Review Case Nos. DR 23-75 & DR 24-22 with the added conditions that the entry door be reduced to 7 feet with an arched top and that the rear balcony railing not project past the threshold oft the  door more than IO inches. PLANNING COMMISSION REORGANIZATION  Commissioner Dustin moved, seconded by Chair Cheng, to nominate Vice Chair Boyle as  Chair of the Planning Commission for the 2024-2025 term.  Motion passed 4-0 by the following vote:  AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None  Mequet, Dustin, Boyle, Cheng  None  Chair Cheng moved, seconded by Vice Chair Boyle, to nominate Commissioner Dustin as  Vice Chair of the Planning Commission for the 2024-2025 term.
