Resolution No. 2024-49 Staff recommends approval of the consent agenda. Motion to approve Consent Agenda Items 3A - 3E. Motion CM Horton Second MPT Reyes Vote 4-0 4. ACTION ITEM(S) A. Consideration and Approval of A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Arvin Authorizing the City Manager to Execute A Task Authorization between the City of Arvin and Veolia North America for the amount of $91,703.84 for Emergency Influent Wetwell Piping Repairs at the Arvin Wastewater Treatment Plant; and Authorizing Veolia to Proceed with the Project and to Act on Behalf of the City as Necessary to Complete the Project. Staff recommends that the Council request clarification from Veolia concerning their classification of this project as a "Capital Project" (Section 5.04 of the Agreement) versus "Corrective Maintenance, Repairs, and Replacement (Section 5.01(f) of the Agreement). Staff further recommends the Council approve the Resolution authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Task Authorization between Veolia and the City of Arvin for the Amount of $91,703.84 for Emergency Influent Wetwell Piping Repairs at the Arvin Wastewater Treatment Plant if Council determines that the requested project is a Capital Project and not Corrective Maintenance, Repairs, and Replacement; and Authorize Veolia to proceed with the project and to act on behalf of the City as necessary to complete the project.
