Lisal Hicks, Librarian oft the Alleghany Regional Library, expressed appreciation for the oft the governing bodies which allowed the Library to have aj new roof. She also requested support funding for additional stafft to assist with the many programs offered. Ms. Hicks noted that there isar minimum level of employees determined byt the State of Virginia. Shei included her funding Ingrid) Barber, Executive Director of the Community Services Board, provided information and a briefu update on services and funding. Sher noted a 10%i increase in services offered and an Ed Stein, Commonwealth Attorney, expressed appreciation: for all thes support the localities have provided over the years. Jail and the care oft the individuals, including medical, meals, library, etc. is alsoi increasing. He: requested as 9.3% increasei in budget to cover the increase in costs.
