Locust Street, Covington, VA. Thei meeting was called to order by Mayor" Thomas H. Sibold, Jr. with the following members present as follows: Mayor Sibold, Vicel Mayor David S. Crosier, Councilman Edmond. J. "Eddie Joe" Entsminger and Councilman Raymond C. Hunter. Councilman S. Allan" Tucker was absent. The purpose oft the meeting was to consider adoption of Resolution: for a Retroactive Mayor Sibold referenced the flooding event that occurred in. June that caused emergency repairs City Manager Onaitis explained thej possibility for reimbursement from VDOT to assist with the cost oft the major road repair work required due tot the flooding. All projects must be completed and documentation prepared tos send to VDOT for review and consideration of reimbursement Mayor Sibold notedt that this willl be a lengthy process and could take from 12 to 18 months for Following discussion, a motion was made by Vice Mayor Crosier, seconded by Mr. Entsminger, to approve Resolution R-20-23 regarding thel Retroactive Emergency Declaration.
