HENRY COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING June 12, 2024 The regular meeting of the Henry County Planning Commission was held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in the Second Floor Conference Room of the Henry County Administration Building. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Paul Setliff with Richard Reynolds, Glenwood Vaughn, Dee West, Stuart Bowman, and Jeff Prillaman present. Recording Secretary, Wanda Setliff, Panner/Communty Development Specialist, Micah Montgomery and Director of Planning, Zoning, and Inspection Lee Clark were also in The minutes of the April 10, 2024 meeting were reviewed by Paul Setliff. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Richard Reynolds, seconded attendance. by Glenwood Vaughn, and followed by a unanimous vote. R-24-10 Jerry Cecil Stump The property is located at 2129 Reed Creek Drive, in the Reed Creek District. The Tax Map number is 16.5(40)/9. The applicant is requesting the rezoning of approximately 1.6-acres from Suburban Residential District S-R to Agricultural District A-1. The applicant wishes to build additional accessory buildings on the property. The public hearing opened at 6:04. Paul Setliff asked if there were anyone who wished to speak on behalf of this Jerry Stump approached the podium and stated his address as 2129 Reed Creek Drive. He expressed his desire to build an accessory structure on his property to store his antique cars. He mentioned that it is necessary to store the antique cars in an enclosed building in order to insure them. However, he noted that his property is zoned as Suburban Residential and lacks the required square footage to accommodate the accessory building. application. 1 Paul Setliff asked if there were anyone who wished to speak in favor or opposition of this request, and nobody came forward.
